does the built in pump also work off of an outlet with an included cord..thank you

The bed can be blown up using the internal pump that runs on D batteries. There is no option to plug in the internal pump, nor is there a cord for this pump. However, if you have an external pump you can inflate the bed by plugging it into the wall or your car.

Does the pump turn off automatically when it's fully inflated

No, it is a manual switch that you turn one way to inflate and the other direction to deflate and we LOVE this new mattress.

Is it possible to use a regular pump with this?

The built-in pump is integral with the mattress. I do not believe there is any way to attach an external pump. The built-in pump works well, though.

Does the twin size include the built in battery operated pump?

Yes, the twin size model includes built in pump. Batteries not included. Hope that helps!
