Works, but not quite as designed
Although the directions were difficult to read, it was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. It didn't work for me in its usual configuration because it made the toilet area too crowded and difficult to reach things. However, I quickly realized that the gripper feet and the adjustable features of the safety rail works well as a non-drill side-rail (see picture). So far, having a rail on one side provides all the support I need. If more support is needed, I could unfold the rail and put it in front of me. I used the foam packing cushions to provide cushioning between the rail and the wall to prevent damaging the wall. I have been using it for a few days, and it works great. I am unable to install a wall mounted safety rail because I am renting.

Excellent customer support
Useful product that effectively provides needed support for a family member with mobility issues. After a little over a year of the rigors of daily use, the plastic clips that hold the pins stopping the side arms from moving laterally broke, allowing the pins to work loose and make the side arms a bit wobbly (although still steady enough). OasisSpace Customer Support was very responsive (less than 24 hours to respond to an email inquiry) and, although the warranty period had expired, went the extra mile and immediately sent out replacement parts. Problem solved and back to as sturdy and good as new. Could probably have rigged a repair of my own with some locking hitch-pins but nice to have a manufacturer support their product without fuss - which is becoming much less common these days!

Adjustable Safety Rail Worked Well
The adjustable width and height without having to attach to the toilet seat was reason we ordered this. We have a small space to work with and this did not interfere with the bidet. Toilet roll could not be placed on existing hanger. We are using free standing toilet stand. Arrived on time and easy to assemble. I think it is a bit wobbly. My husband had major back surgery and is happy with it. The toilet sits between a wall and bathroom cabinet so I'm not too worried. If there was a lot of open space, I would probably have one that attached to the toilet so there was little to no wobble. Our toilet seat height is 18 1/2 inches, so we did not have to buy a raised toilet seat.

Best Choice For Me
I have been using this safety rail for nine months and it has proved to be exactly what was needed as well as sturdy and rugged. The rubber grip is smooth and does not slip on the rail. Mine came with four rubber feet and two vacuum suction feet. I chose to use the four standard feet. The cross bar goes between the stand toilet tank and the seat lid. I use it to help me stand up and it easily supports my 300 pound weight. It is not flimsy at all.The width of the side rails is adjustable as are the height. I have mine set for maximum width and minimum height. The side rails can be pinned for fixed position or left free to rotate. The pins fit into a storage location so you can't lose them. I have mine setup to allow rotation which is helpful for swinging them out of the way to get access to floor level cabinets below the sink counter. There are no modifications to the floor or walls to install this model--the unit is completely free standing making it easy to fold up and remove entirely for cleaning the floor or working on the toilet. You can fold it up and take it with you when you visit your grandchildren.

Width is adjustable, stability/durability questionable
I am a retired RN and I can only give this adjustable set of toilet rails 3 stars. This item was bought for my husband for his rehab after knee replacement surgery. On the plus side, the adjustable width is ideal for people of larger size, the hand rails are comfortably padded with a foam material, there are button slide height adjustments on all four legs, and with some adjustment to the the frame set-up the side-rails can be folded in for transport. On the negative side, this toilet frame is very wobbly and feels unstable when used even when set-up in the non-folding position. I think that wobble is due to no side-to-side bracing between the front two legs of the frame. It feels extremely unstable if the frame is set-up in the foldable position and then used. When using the frame, equal hand pressure on both siderails works best to keep the frame from slipping sideways, if pressure is applied to only one rail the frame slips. The frame comes with four rubber leg tip covers and two additional wider tips that look like suction cups. The wide suction cup tips may be used on the back legs for broader contact with the floor, but we did not find that that they provided any adhesion/suction to our stone tile floor. Although the adjustable width makes it ideal for larger people be aware that the maximum weight limit on this frame is only 300 lbs. I would not consider this “heavy duty” as most bariatric equipment is rated at much higher weight limits. The last negative is the assembly instructions. They were terrible! The parts and the connection sites are not numbered or identified with a letter designation. So there is no “put part A into slot B”. The few photos that are provided are taken in close-up which makes it difficult to determine what part they are referring to in the scant written direction. It took me awhile to figure out what the black “C” shaped rings were for. They are inserted in holes near the top of the two rear upright supports to lock the frame and to prevent the siderails from folding in against the rear part of the frame. If the frame is set-up to allow folding, there are holes on the rear horizontal support bar where the black “C” shaped rings can be stored. We will “make do” with this toilet rail frame, but stability and durability are questionable.
