Can it play 3d blu-ray movies from blu-rays

Hi, yes it does play Blu-ray but not 4 k uhd , it keeps saying there is a problem reading these discs, I have since found out that it is almost impossible to find a player that will play in 4 k on any computer, I have a very powerful new computer but this makes no difference, don’t waste your money if this is what you want to do, hope this is helpful for you

will it work via usb c to usb c?

Yes it comes with both a USB to USB-C and a USB-C to USB-C cable included and runs from a PC laptop best that way, with no external power needed

Does it work on a 2.0 usb port?

Hi it does work with Windows 10 but if you use Nero software to make CDs etc it does not work

How long is the usb cable? I want to use this device with a desktop machine.

The USB cable is about 18 inches long and I use it with a laptop. The device plays Blu-ray and non-Blu-ray DVDs, but frequently halfway through it seizes up, and needs to be re-started from where it stopped or from the very beginning. I do not know if there is a better Blu-ray player available.

Great

Great Blu-ray player for my Mac. Works well and is quiet. Very nice design with a rubberised texture. Much nicer than the cheaper ones available. Also works in standing position which is very useful.

Could not be happier

The drive works well on both mac and windows without any additional drivers needed. Used it primarily with an additional software to rip my movie collection to .mkv and its a great companion for that since its reads all the necessary data.

Doesn't always play Blu-ray discs

I bought this product 8+ months ago to use with a top-end laptop and the latest PowerDVD sw to watch Blu-ray and other discs, borrowed from a film rental service. In other words, latest technology, up-to-date and high-end sw, and genuine discs. Yet the results are disappointing.Almost every time it stops halfway, and I have to restart to get it to play.And nearly 20% of the time it simply cannot play the Blu-ray dvd disc.Pioneer is a highly reputable company. But this time I feel I have been badly let down.AVOID this product for Blu-ray. And Pioneer have shattered my faith in them.

Firmware v1.03 doesnt work with MakeMkv

Nice drive and fine for watching movies but doesn't work with MakeMkv. Can't downgrade Firmware.

Expensive but works fine

I went with pioneer because they are a good brand and so far product seems fine. it can be a bit finicky to get the disc in feels like something might break, but once in, it is quick, quiet and does the job. it is quite expensive for what it is. I'm using with Mac computer - the software it comes with is not compatible, which is annoying. Get a software for mac, Pioneer!

Bit pricey but looks and performs great

Haven’t used it much but I just plug it into my Mac and it works great, no need for any extra setup.The matte black finish is awesome too, is a very pretty little drive.
