Full tang. Square spine. Sharp
Full tang. A bit heavier in the hand than the Mora Companion but comfortable if you are a bigger guy like me. Scandi grind is way in the acceptable range for the price. I enjoy carving and feather sticking with it. It has a 90 Degree spine and makes sparks rain with a ferro rod. Go ahead and get it before they go up you wont be mad about it.

Excellent and inexpensive.
This is a substancial all around knife. I bought it specifically for the handle -looks thick and I thought it would provide a comfortable grip for someone with some incipient arthritis. And it works. It is already developing some patina after peeling some fruit, very sharp by the way.The sheath looks good and feels good. I make leather goods so I will make a much -much :)- better one, but you don't need it, the one provided is excellent. There is a microscopic roughness in the handle where steel and wood meet, so someone, somewhere will point that out. But I will not because I am a man and I can take it and I can sand it. But I'm not gonna do it because I love it the way it is.I love this knife.

A great value!
I like the looks and feel of this knife and the simple design. I keep a few cheap knives around for jobs I don’t want to do with an expensive one. I added some boiled linseed oil to the grips and Obenauf’s oil to the sheath. I like a carbon blade and applied a forced patina to it. This is a great value for $30. and my only complaint is that mine didn’t have the maker’s mark on the ricasso.

WOW! BPS IS LEGIT
I am really impressed with this knife. The one I received was just about perfect. Some reviews stated that there was some rust on the blade and that the handle scales didn’t match perfectly to the tang, but BPS must have listened because mine came with a cardboard sleeve covering the blade and had a generous amount of oil with absolutely no rust anywhere. I was expecting to need to do a little touch up, which I didn’t mind for such an inexpensive knife, but I was pleasantly surprised with the finish quality. The handle is very comfortable and the scales match up perfectly to the to the tang. The edge came extremely sharp, I mean crazy sharp. It was the sharpest knife out of the box than any of the 20 or so knives I own. The sharpness rivals that of Esee, which if you own an Esee you know what I mean. The sheath leaves a little to be desired but still pretty decent, it’s just a little thin. I have the leather sheath from my Esee PR4 that I wasn’t using and the BPS fits perfectly. Overall the craftsmanship is excellent and probably the best value for the money of anything I have bought in a long time. I would definitely recommend to anyone.Update: after testing this knife over the last few days I liked it so much I decided to order another one of this model and one of a different model. Also I have found the steel to be very good and it holds an edge well. BPS offers great knives for the price.

Customer for life.
This is a Good knife. I like the fact that it is a full tang, wood handle, carbon steel, Scandi grind, and a nice leather sheath. The sheath is worth the cost of the knife. However, it arrived with a lot of rust on the blade. I get it it that it is not stainless steel. It is carbon steel which is prone to rust. But I have bought carbon steel knives before and they can remain nice and shiny if you keep them oiled. I have never received a rusted knife like this out of the package. Also, the handle looked really dull. I thought it was supposed to be walnut. Maybe it is ash. It is funny because in the description it says both. So which one is it? It didn’t look coated with linseed oil. But that’s ok. At least it is not finished with some polyurethane or something. So for the rust and handle I give a three star review. But the price is good. Just a little disappointed. It would be nice if they sent me a new knife. Then I would change my review. If not oh well. I will still use it.Update: I reached out to BPS knives, correction, they reached out to me, and they wanted to send me a new knife. Such great customer service. The new one came in about 8 days. It is beautiful. I love this knife. I am so happy. They didn’t have to send me a new knife, but they did. And I still have the old one. Score! Overall, I am extremely pleased. Great value, functionality, and craftsmanship. And superb customer service. Way to go BPS. Customer for life.

Value and customer service are TOP on Amazon
Ok I got the Bs3TF because I loved the Companion Mora but HATE the partial tang of the Mora. First of all the Knifes quality is top notch ,that said you can tell the grind is not perfect and may even be hand done or partial hand ground. its just not perfect like a computer controlled grinder. I am a Journeyman Machinist (look it up) so I know how hand grinding is like done by a expert. This looks like a VERY experienced machinist doing it by hand. The metals Rockwell hardiness, is a little low but acceptable at aprox is 58, For the price it was EXCELLENT! Fit and finish on my was very good, they could NOT of put the scale screws in counter-sunk any deeper without risking a crack with wooden scales. THAT is why they stick out a little..it was a good choice. Ok now the one con ready? my sheath was too loose and the knife fell out when turned upside down. The sheath is WELL made but mine was loose. I sent them a email and within TWO HOURS they offered me a replacement or a refund!!! TWO HOURS PEOPLE! I took the refund and got to KEEP THE KNIFE!!. I will use the refund to get the HK1S and try shrinking the sheath if I can..[I really dont know how]. We need to support this small company!! I also like where this company is at ..the Ukraine. China can fail completely as far as I am concerned.. I am a Patriot! if I could afford it I would only buy USA but lack the extra funds, and well..there yah are, so this is the next best thing....BUY IT!!
