Holds a lot of water 2litters
Good product, holds 2litters per container. Be sure to screw cap completely on after filling. Has a plastic cover for the lid portion but I’m sure eventually it’ll break off. Overall the carabeaner portion is thick so it’s ok.

Sturdy, ultra light, no taste or smell - can attach to sawyer filter
Really like these. They hold water great, stand up when full, are sturdy and the top has a loop that keeps the dust cap attached. The pull top allows for you to suck water out, or you can undo the whole cap to attach a sawyer filter or something like that. No smell or taste that i've found. They fold up super small and ultra light.

Plastic taste
Used for hiking the narrows, they are ok. Have a plastic taste but good to use as an ice pack or maybe emergency water when ice melts

Goes with backpack dog harness
Perfect for his new back pack. We freeze the water and it keeps him cool while hiking. As it thaws he drinks it

Would not purchase again
Could probably find something more durable. They were OK for hiking but did leak on me a few times.

Worked well.
Bag worked great. Perfect for the concert festival. Didn’t leak, easy to open, close and refil. Only issue after the second day at the end of the day the carabiner broke on one, but we were done with it at that point anyway. 5 ⭐️

Not trail-tested, not trail-approved.
Both leaked, but thankfully I had them clipped to my pack so I got drip drip disappointment instead of a full-on gear flood. As a backpacker, you need your filter bottles to be reliable. These looked the part, but failed the basic test: don’t leak. It’s called a Survival Filter, but the only thing it helped survive was my low expectations.

RELIABLE STURDY - GOOD BUY
It's a collapsable water bottle and seems to be about the best. Sturdy, reliable no leaks (I test them and if it leaks I seat the lid properly)I tried both boiling and freezing and had no problems. If the bag is too full and freezes the expansion could rupture anything, though.I poured boiling water into two of them and put pressure on them and nothing gave way and there was no distortion. The seams are very thick and sturdy - I used a hot nail to put a hole in the ample bottom seam for the carabiner so I could hang it upside down to gravity feed the large Sawyer filter. No leaks here.It has the same threads as a soda bottle and the Sawyer filters. The cap is a common, quick open-close drinking top but will not interchange with the similar drinking cap on the large Sawyer filter as this one is much deeper. This bottle fits and seals nicely with the input (dirty water side) of the Sawyer filters and with the Sawyer Coupler (SP150) to attach to the output (clean water side) of the large Sawyer filter. On the output, squeeze the air out of the bag then attach and it will gravity feed and automatically shut off when full. You can't hold these flexible bags like a plastic bottle and trying to fill while holding just the small opening is awkward and relatively slow. The handle is a big plus for hanging on backpack, cooking space or tent or for hand carry and dispensing. Also to hold and secure when filling (don't want to see it floating away) Having an aid for filling would be good in some cases.I use my tall 24 ounce cooking pot with a string harness to collect water from ponds or streams without having to bend or stoop.
