This is the good stuff.
I'm a long time PC hobbyist/builder/gamer starting in 1992. I was having trouble suddenly in a game (same game I've played since 2014). It would randomly lock up or crash. The PC itself was fine with no blue screens or any other issues. I had the pc set up with 4 sticks of 8GB DDR4 (32 GB total). No issues for years. I run an I7-13700K. This had been a super stable setup. I installed the latest BIOS, uninstalled/re-installed the whole game. I bought this ram kit. I swapped out my 4 sticks of 8GB for these 2 sticks of 16GB. No more instability/game crashes. This ram has CL16 over the CL18 I had before. The system is a tad bit snappier. It has no RGB. If you're looking at the lights, you aren't playing your game.

Great RAM for half the price
This review is specifically for RAM sold by RACERSPEED INC.I'll start with the good part:It's the same RAM as what's being sold by Amazon.com in a different listing (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z86BMCQ), but at a fraction of a cost.I had both in my possession and was able to test both, so I don't see any reason why anyone would be paying double for the other listing. Also, this RAM performed waaaaaaaaaay better! The other one could barely start with timings in XMP profile, and even then required voltage to be raised way up, while this one started great as-is and overclocked far beyond its XMP profile. I was able to set many timings much lower, e.g. CAS latency set to 13, not without some higher voltage though, but that's not surprising.I might've won silicon lottery here, so take the above with a large grain of salt. Now to the bad:The heatsink is a joke. It barely touches the chips, and where it does, it's only a small area (see attached photo) and it's a consistent picture every time (I ordered 2 sets, 4 sticks total, 8 heatsinks), so you'd be better off removing stock heatsinks and using some aftermarket ones. But overall, great RAM, 5-star rating fully deserved.

V is for Value and G.Skill delivered that
I literally think the V designation is for the "value" line of memory that G.Skill offers and they deliver on that promise. Over the last few years more and more of the memory slots in my house are finding themselves with G.Skill Ripjaws V in them as I rotate out smaller capacity sticks. The fact that this product in particular is CL16 -- an important factor for performance -- compared to most of the other value oriented products on offer is a huge bonus, too. There may be cheaper ways to stick a reasonable 32G of DDR4 into a machine but none of the products at a cheaper price point offer the same tier of performance. Like most people I shop components around "bang for the buck" and this landed squarely in that sweet spot. The XMP profile worked perfectly on the first try with no tuning at all. Plop the sticks in, set XMP mode, and you're good to go on the first boot. Rock solid on MEMTEST86+.This particular purchase was stuck into a machine that I pretty much only play games on and for gaming this is an excellent choice. At CL16 and an upper-mid tier throughput I'm nowhere near bottlenecked by memory performance -- faster RAM wouldn't make anything actually go faster.Pros: Quality, price point, performanceCons: Ridiculously huge heat spreader would make V series memory very unsuitable for low profile installations. Avoid if you need to tuck memory under your CPU cooler, a large PCIe card, or in a low profile case.

Great RAM at a great price point
I game and use my desktop for virtualization of network environments so having more RAM is almost always better. In this case I wanted to upgrade from 32GB to 64GB to help with running my virtual images. I didn’t need top-of-the-line just more so this fit the bill perfectly. It arrived on time and was super easy to install. Booted up and hopped into the BIOS to make sure it was being recognized and it was off to the races. It’s been working great for the week that I’ve had it installed now. Would recommend!
