Worked great pairing the opener to the garage was super easy. All I did was look up a YouTube video because the instructions are informative but I’m a visual learner took about 30 seconds and it was paired with it. The only thing I wish it did have was maybe some kind of cover or rubber around the button to make it harder to push. I’d imagine when the keys in your pocket or when you’re putting it down possibly might open when you don’t want it to other than that is great.

I ordered these garage door opener remotes as extras to our new Genie garage door opener. They are awesome! They programmed within seconds and they open and close the garage door from down the street. And the two of them together cost less than a factory remote. I highly recommend!

I first tried buying a pair of Genie-branded Intellicode remotes but had this purchase fail due to logistical problems in their fulfillment contractor. I then tried this product for a fraction of the cost, and found it to be functionally as good as the other. The case does not appear to be as durable, but it programs fine and seems to have about the same range as the OEM remote.

Easy to program, came with batteries installed, they work fine but do not have the range or signal strength of the Genie one.

I have a genie intellicode garage door opener and needed an extra garage door remote for some family that will be staying with us for a little bit. It's hard to choose but I took a chance on these and so far they were perfectly. Programming was easy just look up the instructions on the web or go by the little included sheet But I prefer to go by with the official genie instructions I found on the web. These are actually pretty small but they do come with a nice clip or an option to put them on the keychain.

I have an older Genie PMX500IC/B opener on my garage and the solder joint broke for the battery connection on the one and only factory remote I had. I got tired of getting out of my car, closing the door and doing the skip/hop dance over the safety laser (first world problems). I found these remotes on Amazon, and was a little nervous they wouldn't work, because I had to cross-reference the OEM part number with another cross-reference chart to match up with this remote, but they worked perfectly, and I was able to program both of them in less than 5 minutes with the "learn" button on the back of the opener. Make sure to start with the door shut, hit the learn button on the opener, then the button on the remote. Then use the remote to open and close the door, and repeat for the second remote. Now I have two new remotes for less than half the cost of a single OEM remote. Amazon for the win!

I have an older Génie model PMX5001b/c. The older Genie remote that came with our house was very sporadic and if you didn’t touch the button just right…I got tired of constantly exiting the car to manually enter the code. I looked at this and saw that someone with my same model had purchased it and found it easy. Yes, it is. It took no more than 3 minutes to program both remotes. I am very happy and have already recommended it to my neighbor. I also appreciate its smaller size and put one on my keychain.

Went through several controllers based on reviews. If you have a Genie intelicoda this is you best and easiest to set up of them all. Just put the bottom once on opener then press the remote button several times and it will sinc.
