A game changer
This little stool has proven to be an absolute game changer for me. I have very painful arthritis in my knees and have recently developed a long-term illness which affects me in several different ways, including exhaustion, dizziness and a painful leg ulcer. After a period of hospitalisation, I decided that I needed to bite the bullet and start using some aids, particularly with regard to bathing as I don't have a walk-in shower, just a shower head over the bath. The stool took me 5 minutes to put together and is clearly strong and stable. I only ever shower (as opposed to sitting in the bath), and I keep this stool in the bath so that I can sit whenever I feel I need to. Then, when I've finished my shower, I wipe off the excess water and put it on the tiled floor so I can sit while I dry myself off. I've lost a massive amount of weight due to my illness but am still about 90kg, but this little stool is very sturdy and I feel safe using it. It has about 5 notches (like on a walking stick) for adjusting the height, so you can have it as high or low as you need. It really was worth every penny (although it was very reasonably priced anyway), and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Useful aid to independence.
Perfect for post foot surgery, either in the shower or sitting at the basin. It’s quite lightweight so might not be as sturdy if you are of a heavier build. Didn’t add the foam seat part.Easy to assemble. (Or so I was told).

Ideal for a broken foot
I broke my foot on holiday and had to have surgery. I just got home and have a bathtub with a shower above it and I was worried about getting another fracture getting in and out of the bath. This stool fits sideways in the bath so that I can just sit on it and comfortably get in and out without risk of falling. The adjustable height is great and the feet feel quite sturdy and don't slip around in the curved tub. It was really easy to build. I like that it has indents on both sides to hold the shower head. I was happy with the price as I will probably get rid of it once my foot has healed.

Too wide for my bath
It looks sturdy can hold my weight but the legs jut out too wide, if you have a narrow bath I wouldn’t recommend, I have to place in the bath length ways and makes it harder to get onto and get out the bath without getting the floor soaked. It would be good if you could push the legs in as well as changing the height of it.

Idea after surgery or unsteady in your feet
Great for the shower if you had knee surgery. Recommended.
