Good Soup
Awesome product so far! I love chemical guys and decided to try this finish. Even in the garage without the sunlight the finish is *chefs kiss*. I use turtle wax hybrid ceramic coating first (2 coats) as I normally do then applied two coats of this product. I used a microfiber sponge applicator for the finish and buffed with a buffing towel. Easy on and surprisingly easy to wipe off. It’s not liquid glass but if you want a quick and easy shine… try it. Smells nice also. I used it on trim, headlights, and rims. No idea how long it lasts lol but cause I literally just put it on but I’m impressed. If I remember I’ll come back and let you all know.

Another amazing Chemical Guys Product!
Amazing finishing wax for dark color paint. I’ve used a few different brands and this wax by far is the best one. The wet finish is absolutely amazing, this went on a vehicle 16 years old with black paint and brought it back to life. Even got complements from people walking by.

Actually Pretty Impressive
I'll say this first and foremost: I wasn't expecting a whole lot from anything from Chemical Guys. About half of what I've bought from them has left me disappointed. The primary exceptions have been the Blacklight car wash and the DA polisher kit. So when I saw that there was a gloss to go along with my preferred car shampoo, I figured I'd give it a shot.A 16 oz. bottle will run you about $25 on Amazon. It claims that it's a gloss specifically designed for black cars. I own a 2015.5 Volvo S60 in Ember Black Pearl, and I've always desired that extra "pop" to top off the end of a hard day's wash. An encore performance, if you will. As nice and glossy as Blacklight shampoo made my car look, I always wanted that extra one percent. The product comes in one of Chemical Guys' standard click-and-squirt bottles. A little of this stuff goes a long way, and the directions say to only put a small amount on a foam applicator. Two pea-sized globs were enough to cover about half a panel. I made sure to try and spread it out as evenly as possible so that there was a slight haze of equal amounts all across the body. I did it in the sun so I could tell where I had glossed more easily, and the bottle says nothing about avoiding applying in direct sun.It says to give about fifteen minutes before buffing, and it takes about half an hour to cure completely. It basically gave me time to get around the car halfway before grabbing a microfiber towel to start buffing. It's a little difficult to tell when it's finished "curing" -- it doesn't haze like carnauba wax does. You kind of just have to time yourself. The good news came with buffing. Happily, this stuff is extraordinarily easy to wipe away after the fifteen minutes elapse. Normally, it's a back-breaking, arm-wrenching affair for me to get down far enough to do sufficient buffing to remove wax residue, but happily the towel wiped up the leftovers with one or two passes. What was left behind was a surprising shine I didn't think my car would ever have again. Honestly, I felt like it looked better than when I drove it off the lot five years ago. I understand this is gloss and it won't last, but given how I had no real expectations to begin with, I have to admit I'm actually impressed.Unfortunately, I didn't think to grab a before-and-after comparison shot, but I can assure you that my paint hasn't looked this glassy since I bought her. If you own a dark-colored car, or heck, even just want to try this stuff out for the sake of trying it, I'd highly recommend giving it a whirl. I was skeptical, but the results were surprising.

Deep Black Gloss Look
It works!! But you need some effort to get the end results. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully when applying the wax to get the deep black gloss look.

Nice smooth finish
This stuff is great! I've been using Nu-Finish (the stuff in the orange container) for years and have not been able to find anything that comes close to it's durability until now. The only complaint I have about Nu-Finish is the excessive amount of powder (aka dust) that it leaves behind. That is not really a problem on my silver car, but is a real pain in the @** with my black truck.I bought a low mileage 2002 Chevy Avalanche a few years ago and, as expected, sitting outside in the harsh central Florida sun quickly caused the factory clear coat on the roof and hood to de-laminate and start to look really bad. I decided to sand them down and have them re-painted a couple of years ago and have been looking for something that would protect the new paint without me having to wax it 2-3 times a month. I think I have finally found it!About 2 weeks after getting the new paint job I applied a good commercial grade sealer to it (Cobalt Ceramic Clear Coat). Expensive stuff in a small bottle, but it did a good job and I was amazed when that little bottle contained enough liquid to cover the new paint 2 times and still had some left. After trying numerous polishes and sealers I came across Poorboy's World EX-P. The main reason I tried it is because it can be applied in moderate sunlight and was semi-pleased to find that it held up for 4-6 weeks before a new coat was needed. Much better than any of the others that I'd tried. Then, a few months ago I saw a short video featuring Chemical Guy's Black Light and decided to give it a try. I liked the way it went on and how easy it was to wipe off leaving little residue behind and was sold on it after seeing that after 6 weeks it was still holding up to the harsh elements. The only thing left to tackle at that point were the small nicks and chips along the sides of the truck that looked like little white specks after applying any type of polish. None of the "black" products that I had tried really worked to hide the specks until I tried Turtle Wax Color Magic Jet Black Polish. That stuff really works, but like any polish/wax has a short life span. A few good rains and it's pretty much gone. Also, it's really black, so be sure to wear gloves when applying if you don't want black hands when you are done. Don't even bother with the Turtle Wax Jet Black Spray Wax, it's worthless as a polish but does work OK as a waterless car wash or quick detailer.I was curious to see if the Chemical Guy's Black Light would seal on top of the Turtle Wax Jet Black Polish without removing it to expose the white specks again so I tried it and was pleased to find that it worked great. The Turtle Wax hid the white specks (chips) and the Black Light locked it in! That was about 2 months ago and, as you can see in the pictures, my trucks still looks like it was just polished!
