Exactly right
Never used metal picks to play but these have been great, I’m getting used to the touch so I am able to play softly now, the thumb pick is taking a bit longer as I want to strum with it too , so I might have to look for an alternative.Initially I was confused about the sizing as there were conflicting and incorrect information being suggested in the question section and reviews. All the picks are the same size regardless of sizing indication. You bend and twist to fit, if you have fat fingers you open them up, if you have thin you squeeze them tighter. The sizing is to do with the finger picks only, it denotes the thickness of the metal not the finger size. A beginner would use the thinnest to start and progress to thicker to change tone or style of play. The thumb pic is the same size across the whole range of sizing. So it’s the same whether you have a thin finger pick or thick finger pick size. You can confirm this for yourself, the picture shows the reverse of the packaging which shows the thumb pick is the same size on all of them.So with that clarified , get some, pick and strum yourself to happiness.

Not just for banjo playing !! haha
Really good quality finger picks. I am currently perfecting my technique and they have really improved things as it means that I can now keep my nails short and use these instead. I have only got thin fingers so they fit perfectly and I am having lots of fun finding other uses for them too. I've found that they are great for scratching an itch, but my ultimate favourite is using them to gently tickle my girl BFF. They have her giggling like a good 'un in no time !! She says my tickling technique is 10 x better than my banjo one. Great fun !!

some size information
These are good. For info - small neoprene gloves usually fit me well, medium are too big on the fingertips. Measurements -not scientific, just a bit of string around each finger knuckle where the band of the pick sits. Index 5.2 cm, middle 5.5 cm, ring 4.7cm. I ordered the smallest size 0.13. The middle finger one fits nicely and the other two fit fine with an overlap on the wings. Any bigger and I wouldn't have been able to keep the curve when overlapping the wings. If these had been smaller they would still have been fine because the wings don't need to meet. My advice is to go smaller if in doubt.

very flimsy
OK I am not a professional and only a very new beginner but bought these as I am starting finger picking on the guitar and due to being a furniture restorer and French polishing makes the nails brittle, I needed a good alternative and chose these after reading the reviews. They are very easy to make fit your fingers, unfortunately this is half of the problem as being so flexible, whilst plucking the strings they work lose within a couple of strokes. They also give a harsh sound, but that was my fault as this is a characteristic of metal finger picks I have since discovered... opt for heavier duty ones if you really want metal finger picks.. me I am going back to growing my nails.

Poor quality finger tabs
On receiving the finger tabs I put them on and found them very uncomfortable. Because I found inside two sharp Burrs on all of them in the same place, I can only say they are very poor quality for the money I paid for them £6.29. As I need them I will have to try and file them out. Sorry to say I wouldn’t recommend them if the quality is like this
