worth the cost
A friend whose husband is a sushi chef told me about this product as my husband is an avid fisherman. These sheets extract excess moisture from fish or meat, intensifying the flavor. I defrosted frozen Rockcod in the sheet and it cooked up with a really lovely crust that I couldn't get previously. Tonight I used it to wrap a tri-tip roast while bringing it to room temp- it was the best I've made. I will keep this as a staple in my pantry.

Great product
I catch, clean, vacuum pack and deep freeze my own fish and have for many years. Just learned about this product. It is a revelation, truly improves the fish with flavor and texture. Who else but the Japanese who are wonderfully fanatic about their fish? Expensive though. I found another website that sells the exact same product for almost half the total cost, with shipping.

A very good alternative to dry aging bags for meat.
I was looking to dry age meat with commercial bags, but this sheets are magical with the results: practical and working very well. The cow meat finished its process in the regular fridge with any inconvenience. The primary T-Bone whole piece was covered with 4 sheets, fixed with cooking cotton cord for 4 weeks over a single create with no salt under the meat, no humidity control; all the process until been grilled in 2" slices is perfectly done; then taking out the bone, was effective for the resulting new york and mignon at the time these were grilled in hard wood charcoal.

This product is fantastic!
I, myself , hadn't had chance to ude it yet, but my fisherman friend used it and told me it is Great! he cleaned and skined his catch and wrapped it with Pichitto Sheet. He told me good amount of excess body water came out, and it took out execc fishyness. It made the sashimi so much better!
