Get the belt
Watched a YouTube video or two… ordered the right belt after a quick google search to confirm the right part number. Unplugged the dryer, got a screwdriver to pop the dryer open… swapped the belt and slapped it back together. Plugged it back in…. Easy peasy. Still works… seems fine. The replacement belt arrived in a sealed package and had no signs of age.When I was a kid… I got the belt.As an adult, I replaced the belt. …not exactly full circle… but it’ll do.

Dryer belt broke after 10 years. I don't like aftermarket parts but the OEM was not available quickly so I bought this one based on the amount of good reviews. Installed easy enough and is working. So far so good. In the meantime I did get an OEM belt and put it on the shelf if this one gives up the ghost at some point.

Tight fit but ultimately perfect
A few reviews have said that this is too short and/or doesn’t fit. I thought the same thing upon first attempting to install it. I simply could not fathom that it would be so tight, but yet that is how it’s supposed to be. When you’re pulling on the tensioner pulley to install the belt, you really have to pull it hard, beyond what one would think is normal. It’s designed to be super tight in order to move a large drum full of wet clothes. After I made this realization, I was able to install it and now it works perfectly. Of course I would double check to make sure you ordered the correct belt but Amazon’s model number system is, for the most part, quite excellent. And from what I can tell so far, the belt appears to be a very well-made product at a reasonable price.
