Mine came in perfect condition. They are awesome. They are numbered corrrectly. I got the metal Tunsian crochet hooks. I know the bamboo ones are nice (lighter to hold and never cold like the metal hooks) but the thinner bambo hooks break easily. So you need these metal ones for 2.0-3.5 projects.These Tunisian hooks were ordered just in time to make a few hats for winter in awesome thick tunisian crochet patterns which look way more like knitting than regular crochet hooks. These are the same as the professional ones.

I purchased these along with another set. These are very nice aluminum. Lot of variety of sizes, beautiful colors, good weight, and comfortable to use. So glad that I purchased these.

Not great for arthritic hands but I believe you can make or buy grips to use with them. Otherwise made well, in all the sizes I needed, and very cost friendly. The added in stitch markers hold up better than other plastic ones. Im currently using on a project im doing.

This set of Tunisian Crochet Hooks is very well made. The tip is nice, it grabs the yarn and the yarn slides easily. I like the easily identifiable size marker at the end, and that shape of end adds to the hook end to keep it from rolling away when it inevitably lands in the floor.I highly recommend this set. So many hooks for such a great price. I was really expecting low quality, but what a splendid surprise! I read a review that was not happy they arrived in a zip close plastic bag. For all these hooks at the price that was charged, why would a fancy dancy carry bag bag be included? Why? I prefer to have them in the see through bag. I can see what hook I am grabbing. No fancy carry bag is needed.

I was looking forward to these crochet hooks, but very disappointed when using them. The wooden ones with the plastic line attached are not completely smooth and my yarn snags on it! Thes should have been sanded down with a lighter grit and a protective coating. I can do it myself but I paid for a ready to use project not one that needs more work before use. The metal sets are great. I already have another set, I only needed the ones with the extension. I hope they make some improvements. They feel cheap and do not feel like they are made to last. I would not gift these I would look forward a better quality set.
