A remote is just something else to go wrong. You get a bad batch of wind, run it for the 3.5 hr cycle. Otherwise, the quickcycle should get it all. 16x36 kidney pool here. MAKE SURE TO GET IT OUT OF THE POOL WHEN IT IS DONE. This isn't a Polaris leave it in the pool vac.

What i received was a different model number, rc9990ctb. and, hayward doesn't even have that as a model number and can't register warranty?

Same happened to me. I received model RC9950GRTB. I called Hayward and they said they cannot help with information on their products (no, really, they said that) and I should consult the website, which does not have this model number. I can find RC9950GRTB on Hayward Canada's site, but no details. I can find RC9950GR on Amazon http://a.co/g7ynugv , but can't tell what the difference is. One thing for certain is what I ordered and what I received are not the same. The item I received is brown/tan with a shark graphic on front--which is also different than the picture of the RC9950GRTB on the Hayward Canada site. In addition to the warranty issue, the model I received is not valid for the current Hayward rebates.

I have an large 26,000 gallon above ground pool with a vinyl liner. Can I use this vacuum on it?

Yes, I have almost the same size 28,000, but in ground vinyl liner. It does a good job.

Does my tiger shark qc work with 220 volt system

Regular 110 current. Easy to clean, cleans pool quickly and quietly. You will wonder how you got along without it.
