How many times can we operate this lock after inserting a new battery.

Depends upon usage. If the lock is used for an average of 10 times a day, the battery would last upto 6 months, depending upon other environmental factors also.

Even after entering the correct passcode, the lock fails to open. The battery is absolutely ok. Please let me know how to solve the problem.
