Q: Is it necessary to keep the source elevated? I have a large water tank underground I'd like to draw from

No, you don't need a source elevated. You just need to make sure the suction tip of the hose is submerged in water.

Q: Will this fit the Archer K1?

It will technically fit on the Karcher K1 Entry, but we don't recommend the use of this hose for any of our machines smaller than the K3 line- the K1 and K2 lines don't have enough suction power to really make it work.

Q: Does it really work with any K2 Model? want to be sure before pulling the trigger, since i will only use it with buckets of water.

It should what's more important is how you use it because there's no pump pushing the water through the hose. To make it work better I would fill the hose with water and try to remove the air before turning on the pressure washer. I'd also put my bucket higher up so that gravity would help push the water.

Q: Does it work with any electric pressure washer

Yes, it works with all Kärcher pressure washers rated 1800PSI or greater.
