Q: How young of a child is this good for?

Honestly, under supervision any child could play this instrument. I’d let my kid as young as 3 or 4 play this. There are small parts, so supervision is definitely recommended. It’s super easy to play the keys. Although it requires some coordination. So if your child is responsible and isn’t going to just bang on the thing and pop the keys off, I don’t see why not. Again, I don’t recommend leaving a small child alone with this instrument as it has small components.
