Tastes good cold and warm. I use it for hormonal acne since stopping my aldactone. I have been lucky so far. With this and DIM, I have remained pretty clear. I hope it lasts. I drink two cups of this a day. I like the taste and cannot leave it unattended around my three year old. Be careful around the boys. He was pretty emotional and I couldn't figure out why and remembered he had been stealing some of my tea. I know my prescription was blocking testosterone. I do not know how this works but it does something and he was a mess.Update month later: I still drink two cups of this tea. I take it morning and night. No problems with my skin yet. I am on my second cycle and my face should have at least three pimples, but I have nothing. Still very clear. I sometimes see a small bump trying to appear but it vanishes quickly. I am still taking doxycycline and I wonder how it will affect my acne when I stop that and use just tea, facial gel and DIM.Update Year Later:I went on Accutane. After that it is normal for the dr to do aldactone for maintenance. I hated the aldactone as I gained 20lbs. I found that one cup of this a day has my skin glowing. When it is that time of the month, i drink two. There is a noticeable difference. This tea works like the aldactone by being anti androgenic, which is apparently my problem. This tea gave me the same benefits without gaining weight. Now i did stop this tea for a month. I didn't change any habits and dropped 7 lbs. I think that it may slow down weight loss, but at least it does not make me gain anything. It's a must for me. Keeps my skin clear and glowing.I do recommend it.

This is the best tea so far, perfect combination, not too sweet nor sour. Recomended.

I buy this in the six-pack because I go through it.Honestly, I don't especially love the taste, but you do get used to it. Like many of the other reviewers here, I drink this because I have (had, thanks to this tea!!) gross hormonal acne that popped up along my jawline and the sides of my chin. (Unlike many reviewers, I'm female but I don't have PCOS, just terrible skin.) I had read somewhere that people take spironolactone for this type of acne, and had resigned myself to waiting until my insurance plan year was up so that I could go see a dermatologist, then I read on SkincareAddiction that people sometimes use spearmint for the same! Apparently it binds off with the excess androgen. For this reason, I wholeheartedly recommend this to women but I'm not sure what would happen to men if they took it, since androgen is a male hormone....I found this product first in a local natural foods store and dove in, starting with two cups a day and tracking the number of blemishes in that area. (I am neurotic.) The first day, I had 27 blemishes. The tenth day, I had five. By then end of the first month, I had no blemishes along my jawline--at that point, as much for expense as for anything else, I scaled down to one cup a day and found that was effective for maintaining my new clear skin. I've been at this for about six months now, I'm finally eligible to go to the dermatologist and I won't bother now. Incidentally, I didn't find that it had much effect on the rest of my face--other than this hormonal stuff, I break out when I deserve to (falling asleep with makeup on, a weekend of crappy eating) and the spearmint didn't effect that either positively or negatively.I buy this in the six-pack online because it's quite difficult to find in stores! The first box that I bought was the only such box in that health food store, and I had to supplement with Bigelow's Mint Medley, which was a mix of different mints, and as far as I can tell only the spearmint has this effect. I saw faster improvements when I was drinking the pure spearmint.

I have always loved minty things so I decided to try this spearmint tea because I've only ever had peppermint teas. I have purchased many variations of teas from this brand throughout the years so I believe the quality is consistent. I can't really describe the difference between peppermint and spearmint teas; they are both equally pleasant and minty. Spearmint tea does taste different but I can't find the words to describe it :( .I often mix mint teas with green tea and this tea mixes very well. Refrigerating the tea for an hour or two makes it a refreshing and cooling drink for summers.Overall I recommend this tea for mint lovers or those looking for a refreshing alternative to water and soft drinks.7/8/14 Edit: For the past 3 boxes of this tea, the teabags would often leak bits of the tea leaves. It's not really a big deal to cut a star, but others might find it a nuisance. I normally don't have an issue with this brand's other teas so it may just be the batch.

Its not super bitter and I’m glad because it doesn’t need any sugar or cinnamon and it makes me period cramps a bit more manageable so I like it

I buy this spearmint tea in bulk because I consume this tea at least once a day. It's great because you can absolutely prepare it as a hot tea (It's delicious and pairs nicely with Mediterranean foods) but if you suck a drinking enough water like me you can also just pop it into your water bottle at room temp and enjoy the spearmint flavor all day. I was surprised how effective it is at steeping in room temp water. I haven't tried iced but I'm guessing you could make it work.I love Traditional Medicinals; I've been drinking this brand since I was a kid and their quality sure holds up. Glad to find an affordable bulk buy!
