Great for jello jigglers and ice!
I bought 5 different Star Wars themed silicone trays to make jell-o jigglers for my son's birthday party. I did them in different colors/flavors and it looked great. The trick was to spray canola cooking spray into the trays, then wipe them out a little, then put in the jello with 1/2 the amount of recommended water. The spray did not affect the taste. As far as ice trays go, they work great--but no spray. The Darth Vader and storm troopers work the best. Han Solo in carbonite was a pleasant surprise! R2D2 looks great but is very tricky. 9 times out of 10 one of his 'legs' breaks--both in ice and jello! A fun product!!

Decent item.
The ice looks good but at times it is difficult to take it out and the wings break off. But in general, it is still a good thing to have.

Great for chocolates
I bought these, as well as a couple other star wars silicone trays, to use for my son's 5th birthday which is a star wars theme. I found after spraying with a little Pam and pouring some chocolate chips I melted in the microwave it worked great. I didn't have any issues getting the chocolate out. However, if you are doing chocolates you'll want to shake the tray gently once the chocolate is poured in to get all the air bubbles out which I did have on my first attempt. Once cooled I sprayed these with a silver edible spray and put them in little treat bags - they were a big hit!

Keep Away from Death Stars
I was looking for something to experiment with to test my Death Star's laserbeam aim. I received this ice tray, filled it with water, stuck it in the freezer, and resumed work on my Death Star. Just as it was reaching its ability to vaporize planets I opened the freezer to see how they were coming along. I figured it'd be good practice shooting for the Stormtroopers while the laser was warming up to begin tests.Boy was that a mistake. First, I learned that X-Wings made of ice are actually skilled dodgers of blaster guns. Or my Stormtroopers can't aim. Realistically, I think it's the first one. Clone846493 shot one of the consoles as those slippery X-Wings escaped and Clone346732 slipped on one and fell down into the reactor. We barely made it out in time.We are currently holed up on Ryloth trying to forget about what just happened. Clearly X-Wings and Death Stars don't mix. My bad. Well, actually Clone346732 was the one that blew up the Death Star....one day we WILL get revenge on those rebel scum.

The silicone is amazing. Chocolates didn't stick
I was worried that when I went to get my chocolates out, they would break because of the shape of them. Nope. The silicone is amazing. Chocolates didn't stick, details on the candies came out perfectly. Quick to cool in the fridge and easy to pop out since you can pull on the silicone to loosen the candies kinda like you would to loosen ice from a tray.

X-wing molds
I used these silicone molds to make chocolate X-wings candy for my son's 6th birthday party. This fitted perfectly for the theme, and they looked great when they actually came out right, the detail was very good. Unfortunately, there were parts of the mold that were so narrow, that even with careful pressing, I still couldn't keep the whole X-wing intact. I would say out of the tray of 6, only 2 survived without breakages which was very frustrating. It would probably work better if you were to make ice cubes, other candies other than chocolate.
