Worth the high price !
This item is very well made and is worth the price. It let's my cat into the barn and keeps out the foxes, skunks, and racoons. So far, works very well. Also, very easy to install.

The pet door works great. 4 years and no problems.
The media could not be loaded. I love the pet door, I own two now. They are built well. After 4 years I did have a problem. I bought a new one and troubleshoot the old one and found the inside sonar sensor had gotten pushed in and was not receiving a signal from the collar transmiter. I installed the new door and cleaned the old door. Bench tested the old out and it works great again. I will keep it as a spare replacement if the new door gives a problem. But in my opinion they work great.

Works Great
This door is perfect. I have one older dog and a younger dog. It gives my older dog plenty of time to go through it before it shuts. It never malfunctions or has shut on my dogs or even my cat if she follows my dog in or out. I went out of town and I had no worries about if they could get in or out when they needed. I just had someone come feed them once a day. If you board your dogs this door will save you money over time. Also I don't have to get up every few minutes to let the dogs out either. I love this door!

Much much better than regular doggie door
Relatively easy to install. I had a handyman to put it in, but he made it look easy🙂. Did need a 2x4 to build a frame for it.The collar is smaller and sleeker than I thought from the picture.Top of the line fancy stuff with this dog door. It has easy to access levels of sensitivity for the inside and outside. So it can be programmed for how close to the door you want the dog to have to be before it opens. We are working the sensitivity down as they get used to it.The best thing about this door is that it is airtight, or much more so than the usual floppy door with magnet. I've lost heat and cold air for years with the usual floppy dog door. This dog door has two actual doors, that slide up. You would have to buy a lithium battery for back up if you wanted to. I would have a pro put it in, but that's me.

Not good.
Not a wise investment. Bought this door about 9 months ago. Install instructions were quite clear and we'll written. Door worked for about 7 months. Now the motorized door that goes up and down when my dog nears stays up. I have cycled the power and when restoring the power, the door does go down and stays down. At least until my dog nears to go outside again. The door opens and stays open until I cycle the power again. It does this every time my dog opens the door - it will not close by itself until I cycle the power off then back on. I have a battery backup on the door so I know the issue is not power related. I have sent email to the company but no reply. I'm removing and will be replacing with the old fashioned type. At least that one will stay closed. Not worth the steep investment IMO.

Worked well, until it didn't
Great concept and really like the door. However, at the 15-month point (3 months out of warranty), the outside sensor stopped working... unless you open the door about 1/4 of the way then it magically works. But with the door closed, no bueno. I actually did experiment and found it worked close up if the range is set on 6 or lower but the pet must be practically touching it for it to work on 6. Was told too bad, out of warranty, try replacing the sensor cable and/or the main circuit board (spend some money and might get lucky). Heading down that path next. Although the sensor harness seems reasonable at $23.99, there is also $16+ for shipping tacked on to make the cost much less reasonable. Will see if the harness solves the problem. If not, then the circuit board to hopefully salvage the just over a year-old door. If not, we'll have an expensive brick.

Good product and the best customer service
Door works great had problems with FedEx delivery it contacted the seller and they responded in minutes and called FedEx and got it all sorted out then just about a year of using it it stopped working with the collar messaged the seller and again with in minutes replied told me how to test it and fixed it under warranty absolutely the best customer service I’ve ever had with a product.

Works good but may be too short
I love this door, the dogs and cat feel like they have super powers. The only thing I would suggest is know your pets height and how tall they will get. We upgraded from the old school flap with the idea of getting a bit taller of a door. Ours is under a windowsill so we couldn't go higher because of the panel. So far it's still great. The remote collars do need to be programmed before you put them on your pets so distance can be set. The only other thing I would not pick is the black dangly power cord. My pup knows it's there and wants to eat it. I'll cover it with cord covers. All in all,I Love it, thanks
