Works great, easy to install
This LED light strip extension/connector kit worked very well for my little project. I only needed to cut a light strip and reconnect the ends about 12 inches apart.I like that no wire strippers were required to use this. I do recommend sharp sheers for cutting the wires (and the light strip if it has a rubberized coating). The individual wires of the cable were easy to separate by hand as needed to insert them into the connector. The connector's prongs had no difficulty lining up with and cutting into the 4 wires to make a solid connection with the copper encased in each wire as I pushed the end of the connector closed. My LED light strip has a clear silicone coating. The connector had a little difficulty puncturing the silicone and making a connection with the LED strip. After turning it on, after installing the connection, I found that it did not work. I press more firmly on the connector and I could see the LED strip turn on, but when I release pressure it turned off again. I kept at this for a little bit and had to use a lot of force but eventually it locked into place and works perfectly fine. I think it just had to continue cutting into the silicone. When installing, be careful to keep the same alignment between the wires and both ends of the LED strip. The main disappointment with this kit is that it only includes five connectors. Why not six? There's plenty of wire, but if I plan to use it all I will need two separately buy a kit of connectors.

Works as intended
I purchased this one by mistake but I will say that it did work for the 8 mm size lights but I had to make a small adjustment to the pins in order for them to line up and make a good connection. They are easy to work with and will do the job for the correct width 10mm lights.

Not user friendly
Item was received as expected. However if you know nothing of LED stripes this is not a product for you. No instructions to help guide you.

Works as expected - Worth the price
Like other reviews, given the length of wire provided, it would be nice to have at least 2 more connectors.I used this wire with 4-pin Govee strip lights. In order to ensure connection, I bent both ends of the connector pins slightly towards the inside of the connector. It did not look like the pins were perfectly aligned with the 2 outside strip light copper connections. After successful connection, I used a small set of needle nose pliers to close the connectors tightly to the wire and strip lights.

Good product!
Good product. Just make sure when you look for a LED connector wire, you get the one that's compatible with your LED strip ( two, three, five pin, etc.)

Ehhhh
Iffy on working some spots wants to work other spots don’t, first light strip i finally got it to work as i wrapped the strip around my kitchen cabinets, but when i almost finished the light , the last part wouldn’t connect (turn on) and the first part of the strip stayed red while first part of the strip changed colorsGot another strip but wouldn’t work at all, it’s this wire.. wish i went without a different one from the beginning

If you don’t know how to solder, this is crap
I ordered this hoping it would be as simple as plug and play to add some extension to an LED light strip I have in one of my rooms. Unfortunately this is not the case. There are no instructions with it but it seems pretty straight forward, just strip a wire and put it in the connector and snap the connector closed. It doesn’t work like that. The wire you’re working with is extremely tiny and there’s no way you could work four wires into tiny holes simultaneously. Add to that that the connector doesn’t fit with the native 4-pin style connector on the LED light strip and this is a disaster. The only thing that kept it from being a total waste of money was the fact that I have a soldering kit in the garage. I cut both ends of the wires involved and striped them both and soldered the wires directly together skipping the horrible connectors all together. I am now able to run the light strip to where I wanted it to go having the extra cordage, but without a prior knowledge of and tools for soldering, this would have been a complete waste.
