Works for me
Not an expensive lamp. Not extremely heavy, but heavy enough. I don’t have any big animals to knock it over. It’s attractive and the price was very reasonable. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a floor lamp to replace the one that I have that has a short in the switch after many many years of use. I put that in my den where I don’t have the light on all the time And I can still make it work. I would suggest if you are looking for a more substantial lamp that you look further. I switched out the shade from my other lamp and put the small one which is what is on the new lamp on the old lamp in the den.

beautiful lamp that is easy to assemble
I am very happy with this lamp. It arrived on time, was easy to assemble, and fits beautifully in a corner of a bedroom for supplemental warm light. It requires lightbulb that is not included but I happened to have one with a soft warm light. It is solid, attractive and it works. I would not put a pole lamp in a traffic area, but this is in a corner by a wall and looks great.

I’m pleased with the lamp
I’m pleased with the overall look and quality and weight of this lamp. Easy to assemble and has a very sturdy base. I did change the lampshade only because I wanted a different shape than what came with it. There’s nothing wrong with the original lampshade at all, I just wanted a different shape. I needed a light for that corner and this lamp fills that need and goes well with the decor.

Lamp looks ok in my room
OK. It was packed with Styrofoam. What a mess.But the brown paint on the lamp stand is easily marred or scratched . It will be fine as long as you don't touch it. I tried to scrape off some Styrofoam pieces and it also left a mark. I will probably end up painting it.

Stylish
Really like this, I bought two. Bit of an inconsistency between the two, but I guess it is to be expected. I highly recommend getting white light (like 60W daylight bulbs) for the ones with the white lampshade. It just looks beautiful.
