Fun, interesting and very well put together. Not too hard but had us scratching our heads at times. For us there was a constant sense of progress and reward. Will definitely buy more in the series.

This was a really great way to spend the evening, interesting, makes you analyse & decrypt information both in the file and online. We all throughly enjoyed this. Can't wait for the next cryptic killers night!

Date night at home!!Perfect date night at home for those with kids or simply would prefer to stay in. It’s easy to follow and provides hours of simple entertainment. The idea is very well throughout considering it’s all in a small wallet. Perfect to complete with spouse, family or friends!

I did it solo since I was taking notes, and it took me just under four hours—but that’s about the same time couples or groups usually take anyway. I really enjoyed it! It made me feel like a detective, and I loved that aspect. However, I found it difficult to eliminate suspects because the alibis didn’t feel strong enough, which left me second-guessing. That said, I was right all along! I just think the alibis could have been clearer to avoid unnecessary doubt.I was doing really well but got stuck trying to find the password to log in for the emails. For the first time, I had to use a hint, and even after logging in, I didn’t know how to code, so I needed help with that part. Still, I had a great time! I enjoy doing puzzles solo, especially since I don’t have a group to play with. While groups could either make it more confusing or helpful, I prefer the challenge of relying on myself.Luckily, I had all the evidence without needing to search for anything online, but I can see how some pieces might go missing. I’ve already ordered the next case and just hope all the evidence pieces arrive intact!I did use the online hint after I got a bit tired but overall fun to do, quality was good but did find it a bit pricy for just papers, receipts & cards & once you do it, you can never play it again, it’s not like a board game where you can get your monies worth & play again, so I think it should be between the £10-15 mark.

Really great fun! Good quality materials and a nice way of spending a few hours on a wet Saturday afternoon. Really well thought out and we had a real sense of accomplishment at the end of it. Great value for money too.

We enjoyed this our first murder mystery, it took 3 hours roughly and we were quite thorough. We are now looking forward to the next one. A great way to pass a few hours. We had a duplicate evidence but easily got the missing one from the website. PS we solved it.

Enjoyed this so much we bought another one. My partner and I did this as a date-night idea and really enjoyed it. The realistic details on the case file makes you forget that the storyline is fictional. It takes a few hours to go through everything and complete the case so it’s not too easy that you lose interest. It is recommended for 1-4 players but personally I would say 2 players is ideal.
