Are the gloves heat resistant? Can they work as hot mits?

To be quite honest, I bought these for my kids for their birthdays and they have opened them and checked them out. The only think they thought could have been a bit better quality was the spatula. They seemed happy with the rest of it. As far the gloves are concerned, I’m not sure.
