This sleeping bag is indeed big, however it retains absolutely zero heat, tried using it on a camping trip in 20 degree weather and had to wear three layers and lay in the fetal position all night to try to fight off hypothermia while using this, the only thing this sleeping bag would be useful for would be to use in backyard camping in 70+ degree weather or as kindling for your campfire, don’t waste your time or money if you need to use it in a real world situation. I almost died trusting my life with this, don’t make my mistake.

My daughter, our puppy, and myself all slept cozy warm camping this summer in the Pacific Northwest. It is not slippery. The compression bag squashed it down to about half the size. We’re all super happy with my purchase!

Got this to try out for a beach camping trip in the early summer. We haven't had freezing nights in Northern California to really test out this sleeping bag, but if you're like me and you like sleeping really warm on cool nights, this would be a great sleeping bag for you. It's pretty well insulated and almost feels like a weighted blanket because it's a little on the heavy side. Which is a quality I really like.Also if you're like me and you tried some big and tall sleeping bags that didn't zip up around your hips, just go for this one or another two person sleeping bag. If you need to, you can throw a sheet in to take up the excess space.
