Hydrates well and absorbs quickly
It isn’t greasy and it absorbs quickly. The scent is mild but still pleasant. It does leave my skin soft and hydrated. Will buy again when it runs out.

Works great, smells great
Looking for an oil to do muscle scraping. This worked wonderfully. It absorbs about like coconut oil does. For me it absorbed pretty quickly. It does have a slight slickness for a bit after it absorbs. But it doesnt leave an oil slick on my sheets. It also is light and leaves skin better feeling than even my favorite lotion. We are vanilla scent fans. This is something along the same lines but different. It is cery complimentary to our vanilla products. Hubby commented last night he likes the smell on me. We will be buying again.

Underrated
Best body oil ever. Non greasy formula with great absorption. Spreads evenly and has a nice soft touch. Nice even glow and the best of all the scents + lasts all day. Pair it with the lotion - best scent base ever. It’s great for all seasons.

Nourishing, airy, and plump- However, there is one catch
Right off the bat, I want to admit that I totally bought into the hype around this body oil. The reviews talked about that vanilla fragrance, how quick it was to absorb, and how it moisturized your skin.I’m here to be as objective as possible.Let’s start with the absorbency. It is so lovely. The oil absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving it nice and soft. It’s lightweight, meaning it does not feel noticeable on the skin. When I put on this oil, I know that I will be moisturized all day.Now onto where the oil fell flat. The scent is, to me, the biggest let down from this oil. It has some fragrance, but it’s not something that anyone will smell unless they literally sniff your skin. The reviews had me expecting a fragrant experience, and this just didn’t provide that.I also think that the light scent leans more fresh floral rather than vanilla. The consistency of the oil very thin. I wouldn’t mark this as a true negative, because I think it’s all up to preference, but I still think it’s something that you should know. All in all, this is a competent body oil. I think that if you purchase it, you should do so expecting a moisturizing experience, but not a fragrant one. I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

Love these oils!
Excellent scent and smooth application. It does not feel greasy and drys very well. It makes your skin feel moisturized without feeling like you lathered up in oil. Skin drinks these oils up and makes it feel smooth all day. The scents mixes well with my perfumes too.

Good but won't give you the "omg you smell so good" compliments
The oil as a method of skin hydration 5/5.It is smooth and fast absorbing. I dont feel oily residue left over after rubbing it in. It mixes well with my body lotions and dusting powder and leaves me skin very soft and lasts at leasts 2 days. The oil as a method of scent layering 3/5. I dont think this smells like vanilla at all initially. There's a slight almost alcohol smell initially but when you rub it in and let it set there is a very faint and fleeting sweet vanilla smell. I got into body oils to start scent layering and have been pairing this with a strawberry scented perfume and a sweeter floral perfume. It dampers the perfumes sweetness which is nice but I wouldn't say it gives the overall "omg you smell so good" vibe thay ive gotten with other body oils and layering scents. Definitely more sublte. Overall it's okay but I wouldn't pay almost $30 for it again.

Black Plum 4 stars, Plum 1 star. Açaí 2 stars. Quinoa 5 stars.
LOVE the quinoa smell. 5 stars, definitely. I think it reminds me of a perfume my mom wore when I was younger, Exclamation (that could just be memory) but so much better. This oil is perfumed, and you should really like it to keep it, but I love it. I can’t quite describe it, maybe floral with a background of vanilla, but that doesn’t do it justice and certainly doesn’t describe it fully. I wish I could describe it better. It absorbs wonderfully on damp skin, and if it’s anything like the plum or black plum it will have staying power, like smelling it 12-16 hours after application. I love smelling an oil on my clothes that long afterwards, especially if I like the smell. I shower at night and I love getting an oil all over my bed clothes and smelling it the next day/night. I could love smelling this on my bed sheets too. What a sensual experience. This oil layers beautifully with any vanilla lotion or perfume. It also layers well with Philosophy Fresh Cream lotion or perfume. I bet it would layer well with a lighter coconut lotion or perfume too. I mixed it with Hume Amber dry oil and it was great. I guess anything warm and I would wear it year round, summer or spring, no matter the season. Thinking about giving the vanilla version a try.Did not care for the açaí smell. It was too fruity and too sweet, but in an artificial way. It smelled chalky, like the Flintstones vitamins I gagged through as a child. No thank you.The Black Plum is very different than the Plum. I think I’m going to really enjoy the smell of the Black Plum. I definitely get more of the fruitiness of this one, which tempers the other smells I can’t quite define. It’s not as overpoweringly strong, but still somewhat long lasting. I get a complex, mature (but not old lady smell) smell that is not one note. I’ll update if my preference changes.Okay, so this oil is incredibly moisturizing. Not quite a dry oil, but absorbed incredibly fast and provides long lasting moisture. I love that part. Did not sit on the skin for long at all, had a slightly thinner consistency, and absorbed completely. So..I cannot describe the smell of this oil. Definitely has nothing to do with plums or peaches as described. In fact, there is no fruity component at all. It has a spicy note (pepper?) that comes out strongly. Maybe baby power and musk? I really can’t say. I can’t truly recommend the oil because I can’t accurately describe the smell, and that aggravates me. If you should like the smell (it’s a gamble) the oil is greatly a great value. I got it during the Amazon spring sale which made it a an even better deal. You get a lot of oil for the price. And this oil has staying power. I put it on several hours ago and it’s still really strong. Just can’t get past the inaccurate smell description. Can’t recommend.
