I've had a variety of different buffering wheels and even a couple made of firmer material but nothing like this. It is a solid, well compacted wheel of legit leather that has made stropping not only easier but I enjoy the challenge of getting that perfect polished cutting edge which is always within reach once you set it up to your liking. It's made in Ukraine 🇺🇦 which is proudly declared across the box which may help push the desire to get one over the finish line to support the manufacturer who has done a great job IMO. It's not a buffing wheel however so keep that is mind if you're considering using it on softer materials. It's is tightly Stacked layers of leathers that create a firm, smooth and versatile tool designed to be essentially arranged as desired depending on which power tool you wish to use, the size of blade which I have honed a wide range oof sharpened blades ranging from 3" blade's up to over 25" blade lengths. I actually ended up buying the least expensive corded drill that I can find rated over four stars to use it with and found one for about 50 bucks that works perfect. Combined with the table Vice so it can be turned at 90 °I've managed to create a very portable stropping kit with tremendous value. It comes with a slightly softer compound than I use normally with leather belts causing me to set it aside for others of various types simply due to the mess it made once applied. That's a personal preference thing I think because I know there's A slew of folks that prefer that softer, more gentle compound so their belts last longer and perform better with less maintenance. I just love this so much I have to recommend it 100% to anyone that sharpens any hard metal tool with my knife to Chisel too I drill bit just do yourself a favor it's not that much of a cost to give yourself more options when maintaining your edges

Je l'ai mis pour le moment sur ma visseuse et enlève bien le morfil.
