Couldn't find heavier line ANYWHERE, after going to THREE hardware stores, so I ordered from Amazon (God bless 'em ...they always get ya what you need!). I would like to have had a heavier gauge line, but this one's guaranteed to hold up to 40# they say, and the decorative, wind-driven object hanging over my deck from the upper pergola, is so far, being well supported. Fingers crossed, it continues to be!

Although I LOVE fly fishing, there aren't many spots to fish here outside of Las Vegas, NV. However, I find this fishing line to be extremely useful when crafting toys for my cats. I bought them a fishing toy, but Pendragon likes to take the toy and pull the wiggly thing on the end PLUS the line and the rod to unknown parts of the house. The previous line was stretchy, which, when he pulled too hard and it came out of my hand, it went flying right at him. He likes the clear fishing line because it looks more like the toy is flying by itself.
