Hyperkin "Cadet" Premium Controller for NES (Gray)

Nice replacement controller that feels better than the original due to its slanted corners and round bumps on the back. Do they make a huge difference? No, but for anyone gaming for a long period of time, you will appreciate it. Buttons feel good and the cord is a decent length. My new go to for NES for sure.

This controller is great. The buttons are crisp and tactile and the backs shape helps you hold the controller which is a feature I didn't know it needed. Its somewhat light but feels rock solid. For $15 this is what you need for your NES console.

This controller works perfectly for our original Nintendo! We have been using it multiple times per week and have had no issues with it. The cord is longer than the original controllers so that is nice. We have had no issues with it being a tight fit or hard to plug in.

This controller feels great. It is about the same size, shape, and style of an original NES controller, but with some improvements. It's slightly larger, with a "dogbone" shape in the back. It also has those indentations in the front that are helpful in that they cut down on the sharp corners hitting the base of your thumbs. It also has a much longer cable than the original NES controller, something like 8 to 10 feet. All in all, it's a real improvement over the original. I like it a LOT. The only drawback is that this thing fits really tightly into the console. So tightly that I was worried that I was breaking something by forcing it in. But it works very well. Highly recommended!

I like the controller, but the black label wants to peel off in the lower left & lower right corners. I used scotch tape to keep them attached to the controller.

These remotes are awesome. I have purchased multiple remotes for my old NES and they have been junk, feel cheap and last about a month EH EMM.. ( little 6 to 12 dollar ones) here on Amazon or ebay that resemble the old remote controls... These feel well built, play PERFECTLY fine on my Nintendo i've had since the early 90s. Great product, great quality, great response. My old remotes were just wore out. They worked but not like they used to, buttons would stick, or didn't respond every time and they were still better than any other garbage ass remotes i purchased in search of a replacement. These will finally "retire" my old remotes i've had for EVER! although ill still keep em as backups in case these crap out.

This is a very close replication of the NES brick. I have several old controllers I keep repairing and this is the first new copy I've every enjoyed using. The bumps on the back of the controller for ergonomics is the only part I don't enjoy. The clipped corners are actually pretty nice in-hand compared to a brick.
