Comparison of this product with EZY Treat and Guardian Gear pouches
We have two large dogs and go through a lot of treats. I work from home and have one on me every waking hour. We ended up buying three different treat bags from Amazon. Here is one consumerâs assessment:EZY Treat ($26.99): main compartment with hinge, but this broke and the pouch had to be replaced (the seller was great on the return, but they did not have my color in stock, so still waiting on it). Five other pockets as well. The zippered one in front could and should be bigger (there is plenty of pouch real estate on the front). My cell phone will not even fit. I am yet to find a use for the three pockets on the belt, due to their small size. I tried twice to have these be used for poop bags, but not worth the hassle. The âhidden pocketâ is way on the small side (wonât fit my cell or wallet). In summary, one big pocket which has known issues with the hinge, and five smaller ones which are way small (cell phones and key chains are not as small as they used to be, I guess). The product does have a padded belt, but it makes the pouch come across as âbulkyâ. (Suggest to lose the insignia on the pouch.)Guardian Gear ($16.27): main compartment with hinge has shown no issues, compared to EZY Treat. There is a small velcro pocket on the front which looks like it want to hold a cell phone, but from personal experience, it is a good way to lose one (when you bend over, things fall out as the pocket is small and the velcro doesnât catch for anything bigger than tiny). Please see the picture on the web site. It shows a cell phone in the front pocket with the velcro not catching (nice advertisement of a design flaw). The zippered pocket on the back of the pouch wants to be used, but for what? Too small for a cell phone, wallet, or keys. There is unused pouch real estate on both the front and back, so this could be a much better product with bigger pockets on both sides. (Nice job to keep an insignia off the product.)Petsafe ($10.16): I purchased this one last, as it was the lowest price, and was not expecting much, but wanted to try it as it advertised a bigger second pocket. The second pocket in front of the hinged one is large enough (and with velcro closure) to carry my cell phone, small wallet, keys, gum, sharpie, etc. I donât quite get the third pocket at the bottom of the hinged one, which does have a velcro closure. Is the intent of this to hold âspecialâ treats? I essentially donât use it. I have well over 1000 hours of wear time on the product, and the efficiency of the design and durability continue to hold up. (One wish is to have an all-black product with no insignia. My kids give me a hard time when I am always wearing this, so the more neutral the better!)In my hands, after mega hours of use (with the exception of EZY Treat as the hinge was broken), based on the design, functionality, and durability of the products, the price ordering shown above should be reversed, and I would pay the higher price to get what is actually the least expensive option. Life is good for the customer on this one!

Great treat pouch
TLDR: I highly recommend this product to new pet parents as a first treat pouch because it is one of the most comfortable pouches to wear regularly which means it will be easier to break into a training session or reward good behavior at a moments noticeIf you want something even more low profile go for the mini version of the pouch, smaller and cheaper, same great pouchI first used this brand of treat pouch at a service dog org I interned at several years ago and since then it has been one of my favorites, I have purchased several both for myself and friends/family who get dogs.Things I love about it:-Low profile, many other treat bags are bulky and just begging to be overfilled. This is very important, because it means that it is more comfortable to wear more often, so you will be more likely to have treats on you when your dog or puppy does something treat worthy.-Strong hinge that stays open but is easy to close whenever wandering noses sniff out treatsA pouch that stays open is important to me because it speeds up rewards when my pup is on a roll-Small separation for jackpot treats ( I think this is a better idea than execution, but I still consider it a pro)Cons, or reasons this pouch may not be for you:-It can be a bit of a pain to clean if you use treats with higher moisture, for instance I use a lot of deli meat and hot dogs. I'll plan on switching to a silicone pouch for these treats and using this pouch for freeze dried treats and other pre made treats and kibble-Sometimes treats and bits of treats get caught in the fabric lining, compounding the first con-It can be difficult to open the hinge if you have mobility issues or if it's clipped to a pocket instead of secured to the included beltI really like that this pouch doesn't try to be everything to everyone, If you want one treat pouch to do it all, carry treats, toys, wet treats, dry treats, poop bags, and more, then look elsewhere. This is purpose built, and can work very well in conjunction with other products that can fill other needs. If I go out for a training session that will use a variety of treats and toys this would not be the only treat bag a bring, but it would certainly be one of them.
