Thank you for your question. In the almost 5 quart bag I was able to put cedar chips in 12 potted plants of varying size and put about a 1/4 cup each in our cat litter and dog bedding. I noted that one of the potted plants that did not have the cedar chips on top was getting ants - this solved the problem. Also, find that I water the plants less often.
