Good price and quality
I have just used the 5/8 cutter so far ..32 holes thru 1/2 steel and the cutter looks brand new.I did use coolant and the annular cutter is about 2 times as fast as a drill bit and uses less down force . This item is good quality

Worked as advertised
Drilled 10 holes 11/16" dia into 3/4 plate. Took about 30 min. Took longer to clean in between than it did to drill. Always use plenty of lubricant.

Cleanly Machined, Accurate
A very good set of bits and made from an appropriate tool steel. Nice to have a decent case for bits like this, too. This is an excellent price for the set of 11, considering the price of individual bits.Best use is for steel plate and beams, and aluminum plate, IMO. Perhaps tubing or sheet metal 14 gauge or thicker. Thinner metals are overkill and punching is easier and faster, assuming you have the tooling. 1" max thickness. Was considering drilling a platen of 1-1/4" steel until I double checked the bits" length.

Never going back to drill bits again
I have been wanting to get an annular cutter set for a very long time. Most annular cutter sets are intended for use in mag drills. I do not have a mag drill but I do have a vertical mill. I put the annular cutter into a 3/4" collet (using 3/4" cutter), set the rpm's to roughly 100 and started feeding into a piece of 3/16" tube steel. The cutter went through like hot butter, the biggest issue was the need to stop the process to break the long burrs that started becoming dangerous.Since I was using a 3/4" collet and the mill, I did not have a spring for the point, the slug still came out of the cutter with very little effort. Eventually I may make a tool for inside the collet to use the plunger to remove the plug. But overall, I will never go back to using a drill bit again. The entry side was the cleanest I have ever had and the exit side left almost no burrs. The pictures attached are immediately after the cut without any processing to remove the burrs.
