How much room do you need to allow under the sink for the gravity ball?

My cold water mains pressure seems to have dropped since installing the tap

Make sure there's no kinks in the feed hoses. Also make sure you haven't tightened the counterweight too much because this could restrict flow as well.

Are these easy to fit DIY please?

I got a plumber to fix mine. I wouldn’t be able to do it myself. He didn’t complain and didn’t take very long. Less than an hour. He did say when he looked at the pipe work that it should be easy as the pipes all looked new. 22 years old. You can see a way to do it online. Tap is great.
