Linksys 8-Port Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch with 2 Gigabit SFP Uplinks

This works perfectly in my house! we have 2 Gaming pcs and a Ps4 which we can use all at the same time with no issues, I had a cheap WIFI splitter before this one and it wasn't very good my internet would drop out all the time and we had to reset the WIFI splitter box every time before we used our pcs because otherwise we couldn't connect to the internet, But since having this one I and my family have had no issues at all. I defiantly recommend this to anyone who needs a WIFI splitter because of how affordable it is and how reliable it is.

Decent well made product, solid metal construction, has two lights per port which is also good.Make sure up upgrade the firmware to v1.01.02.02 as the switches ship with the older firmware and the newer version has a totally reworked graphical interface for the web configuration which is well laid out, specially for the VLAN setup which is easy and takes only minutes. Only down side are the power adaptors with those universal clip on plug socket heads, but any half decent UK 12V 1A min. adaptor with the standard barrel plug will power these.

Needed an easy way to connect three computers and a smart TV to my sky router through only one cable. I read a couple of reviews on this Linksys five port network switch and decided to go with it. Turned out to be a great decision...Pros.Easy to install, definitely plug and play. Just plug in your network cables and the power supply and you're away.Fast. I haven't connected my TV yet, but my three computers, (one showing and recording four CCTV cameras) are all working fine.Decent construction, metal case with a blue power LED and orange/green activity LED's. UK power adaptor.Price. A tad under 20 pounds at the time of this review, a reasonable price for a decent piece of kit. Fortunately for me, I purchased an earlier design for just 10 pounds. The newer design is better though.Cons. Couldn't find any myself.Note. It comes with a CD, I didn't need or use it, just saying it came with one, that's all...

Currently 4 installed In the house. Plug and play with Giga bit LAN speeds around the house . We opted to hard wire as many devices in the house as possible. This provided a cheap effective way to do that.Our configuration is Google WiFi to a main switch then as many devices as possible to the main switch direct . With rooms with multiple devices this switch is installed . This system has been installed for 12 months plus with no issues. (. Switches added over the 12+ months period )This is a non Poe dumb switch so no configuration required .

Item as described and arrived very quickly. It was perfect for use with my small networked appliances and worked straight out of the box. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Five star service.

After testing the signal quality on all ports at a distance of 1 meter then 15 meters, I did not notice any interruption or weakening of the signals, very good product.

A really great switch, and it is completely silent. All 4 SFP+ ports worked as either uplink or client with whatever module I threw in there. The management interface is simple but clean, this is only a layer 2 switch so not much to see there other than some vlan options and basic packet accounting. If you don't need 48 ports but would like more than 2x10G this is almost a class of one in the price range.
