Gave this watch to my brother as a Christmas gift very nice like the leather band it was perfect!!

I like this watch. It tells the time. Well, we say it tells the time, but it doesn't really say anything. It just kinda sits on the wrist and we read it. I don't know why we say it tells the time. It's probably a metaphor or irony or hyperbole or something. It's not poetry though. You can tell a watch isn't poetry because watches don't rhyme. The word watches rhymes with other words but the actual timepiece doesn't rhyme. Some watches chime though. I had a watch in highschool that chimed at the top of the hour. All the guys had the same watch and of course they weren't all synchronized. So at the top of the hour you would hear chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp and ding because Victor Yoder had to be different. Anyway, this watch does not chime or rhyme but it does have Roman numerals. But the 4 is IIII instead of IV and it kind of makes me mad. I don't know why it does, but it does. It's like chili soup without beans. What's the point? Anyway, I hope you are well.

I've only had it slightly more than a week but I am impressed. Great value so far. Looks great, keeps time, has the littledate window and I actually feel fashionable wearing it. It looks like a watch that cost hundreds of $ more. I dont think itis water resistent, and it may not hold up to slamming it around but for value you can't go wrong. I could buy 10 of them and still be ahead. Update 9/10/20: miserable year but I just sprung for my 2nd one of these. Great watch for roughly $20. No way to go wrong here.

Decent simple watch with a good band, but the date couldn’t be changed.

I bought this for myself and have had it for nearly six months. It is very handsome and looks like it cost way more than it really does. I did have to replace the battery but that's just the luck of the draw. It keeps very good time. And the band is not nearly so cheap as other reviewers have said - I find that it has heft and is holding up well. I would buy this again.

I destroy watches on a regular basis. Why blow money on an expensive watch when I can buy these, which look damned good, are reliable, and when I break one or lose it , just replace it with another. After all you buy a watch to tell time, not to impress others, unless you are stupid and vain.

My daughter bought this for retreat (for grieving children) because it reminded her of her father. The retreat is "electronics-free" and she needed something to keep track of time for different activities.When she got home she told me that it stopped working the same night she got there. I jiggled it and it started working again, but by the next morning it had stopped again. I don't know if ours was defective or if it's indicative of the entire product line.
