I needed an effective, quiet and discreet fan for my pre amp which has the habit of overheating. I have to say that this solved the problem. It swiches on automatically when it detects the amp becoming too hot, and then switches off when not needed. You can barely hear it.To give you an idea, the amp cost over £3,000 and this relatively cheap little device works perfectly with it. It just sits atop the amp,I would buy another one if any other device in my hifi set up needed it.

CUPRINOL FAN
Does exactly what it says on the tin. I've got it set on auto so it responds to the temp of my hi fi amp (it gets hot when used with the AV set up). When everything is turned off at the end of the evening you can just hear it, but when somethings playing its fine.

Brilliant bit of kit
I use this for on top of a power tube amp that ran quite hot, the infinity is perfect for the job and keeps the temp of my amp at a much better level

Disappointed
A well made unit but not right for me. I wanted to use it to cool an amplifier, but found the noise too loud for my liking. On auto, the fan really was very loud, ruining my listening experience.I’ve now re-organised my system to allow more air space around the components as I feel adding a fan, will always make noise.

Why long shipping times NOT UK SUPPLIED
This used to be a fantastic purchase but for some reason AC Infinity is now no longer supplied in the UK at all which leads me to believe that support details would also be extensively disrupted if you have a problem why would you purchase something from so far away ? … looks like the UK has been abandoned by this company? Great shame, with importation issues too I would avoid this .
