Very good cantilever Keyboard
I got this for the cantilever feature. The other keyboard I had did not do that and it always fell over backwards if I took my hands off it. I was very worried going in as I have never had a magnetic mounted case. I was worried it would slide off and would not be protected if dropped. I was very surprised when this thing arrived. It holds my 12.9” iPad Pro like a champ, I have even already dropped it. I even dropped while it was open. Completely protected my IPad Pro, as it fell side first. I don’t think this case exposes it anymore or less as compared to any other keyboard/case combinations. The IPad Pro even stayed mounted and didn’t move. I was really surprised. I have no worries about protection from general falls. Also I have no worried about the IPad coming loose, the hold is strong. The keyboard is very well back lit, the Bluetooth works very well. Some functions like lock don’t work, but I don’t need it, nor would I use it if it did. All the features you need and will use work just fine. I have seen videos and people saying it doesn’t work with the iPad, but I highly doubt they are pairing it correctly. Also I see where some say the track pad don’t work. But it works fine as long as you follow the directions and turn assistive touch off in the settings. All and all this is a really good set up and it absolutely maintains posture when your hands are off and does not fall over. Well worth every penny and money saved since I didn’t have to get the Magic Keyboard. This keyboard has a very good feel, keys feel strong and soft. I would buy another if I needed one, well I actually did for my 11”. So there is that.

Great keyboard!
Amazing keyboard and case. Extremely easy to type on and very high quality. Long battery life for keyboard. My only complaint is it is heavier but I still rated it 5 stars because well made and nicer than my old more expensive Apple one.

Not perfect, but really great
I have had this case for my new iPad for about a week and I waited to write this review so that I could give an honest opinion. I was recently using a Logitech Slim-Folio case on my previous iPad pro. The case was great and while I do recommend it, I always wanted the Magic Keyboard from apple, but I refused to pay that price for a case that doesn’t securely hold my pencil in place. So when I saw the ESR case I was excited to try it. I have to say there are quite a few bugs that I really Dont like about this case, but unfortunately it is much more aesthetically pleasing and I guess I am willing to deal with the flaws. I will now list below what I like and don’t like about the case.Likes:The price! The design - it’s very sturdy. Even the packaging that it arrived in was great. I also have friends say that you get more rang of motion with this case than their apple keyboards. The function keys- I love that this keyboard has function keys at the top like volume and brightness and others that the apple keyboard does not have. The magnetic flap that holds the Apple Pencil in place. I travel a lot with my iPad and am often throwing it into various bags. Having a case that a makes sure the pencil stays securely in place is important to me.Dislikes:There is a lag in the keyboard connecting to the iPad if it hasn’t been in use for a while. It takes some getting used to and it’s not the worst thing in the world but it does get annoying at times.*** while I was typing this, the keyboard just disconnected… right in the middle of my typing… I had to turn it off and turn it back on again to get it to connect to my iPad. In the week that I have had the case, this is the most that I have typed and this is the first time that this has happened.***The function keys - While I do love that the function keys are there, I hate that I have to use the FN key to make them work. The Logitech case just has these keys as standalone keys that do not share any other functions.Swiping/Scrolling - half of the time scrolling and swiping on the trackpad doesn’t work or it lags DRASTICALLY. It’s really annoying. And to top it off if I try to swipe on the screen instead of on the iPad, that doesn’t work either. It’s like connecting the case to the iPad, disables me from being able to use the iPad as an iPad. Half of the time it works fine and half of the time it doesn’t work at all. Additionally, when you want to swipe up on the screen to get out of an app, half of the time it doesnt work. As if you’re not even touching the screen. I’m just wondering why having the case causes so many issues to the functions of the iPad itself. The magnetic flap - Again, while I do love “the flap”, I just don’t understand why it is positioned at the bottom of the keyboard and not on the top where the iPad sits. It would be better if it could fold back and magnetically stay out of the way like the Logitech case. Having it down by the keyboard puts it in the way of your hands while you type. Now it may seem that my dislikes outweigh the likes, but I think I am going to try to stick it out with this case. I don’t know if it’s possible that I could have gotten a “dud” case and others might work perfectly… but idk man. I think you should give it a shot!

After A Month of Testing, Here Is My Verdict
I have been using the ESR iPad 13 keyboard for over a month now. I was looking for an alternative to the very expensive apple keyboard. I have previously used the apple keyboard for a smaller iPad, and was very impressed with it. So I questioned how well would this product compare.I am GREATLY impressed. The magnet holds very well for this 13 inch iPad. The keyboard is well light, with an option to make it brighter or darker. The battery life is great. I was charging in once a week but lately it’s been 2+ weeks before I charge. I use it often, so the battery life is impressive. The keys are quiet and work very smoothly. The iPad and keyboard combine initially felt heavy together, but neither of them alone feel that heavy. But this has not been an issue of concern for me.I am highly impressed with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality keyboard case and interested in saving a couple hundred dollars!

Great option
Loving it so far! They keyboard and trackpad both work well. The track pad is a little choppy, especially when it comes to dragging icons around, but overall I am very happy with it anyways. It works perfectly for scrolling and multitasking.Love that the keyboard is backlit, and has different led colors to pick from. It also feels nice to the touch, as the whole thing is matte soft plastic.I personally could do without the strap, but it would be great to keep an apple pencil attached in a bag.I think the case looks and feels super close to the official option for less than half the price.I also am very impressed with the battery life so far. I was hesitant to leave it on with the case closed, but it seems to have an auto shutoff, or sleep feature because I havent charged it or turned it off in 3 days now and it still has about 95% charge. Its also nice that its battery life shows up in the widget.Mu only complaint so far is the minor trackpad issues and I feel like the magnets could be slightly stronger. Sometimes when I adjust the volume I push the ipad slighty off the magnets.Overall I highly recommend this product.
