Don’t leave it in longer than 5 minutes unless you want a purple glow in your hair! That’s how well this product works. I’ve used tons and tons of purple shampoos because I love how it takes out the yellow glow, but this one is definitely the best + my hair is still soft and not feeling dry after using this product with a conditioner.

First the smell is novel. It smells like grape soda. Then after the smell hits you, you have this ashy color in your hair and leave it in for 5 min and bam platinum blonde! I love it!

Best product ever to remove brassy tones! This is so much better than purple shampoo! It gives the perfect hue without purple, blue, or green stain to your hair. I'll never use anything else.

Milkshake has my heart, I love their products, I love this black shampoo even more than the purple one for my blonde hair, works amazing, smells amazing, temporarily turns your hands and shower black but it washes off easily, I use it once a week to avoid drying out my hair, it’s by far my favorite! Great value and did I mention how great it smellssssssss!?

So here’s the scoop, this stuff leaves my hair feeling not dried out and it has kind of a grape bubblegum type smell to it so it’s not gawd awful like some blonding shampoo. But, if you have light blonde hair and you like your platinum or your beautiful Light buttery blonde hair do not put this in there. You will regret it and be sad about it… I went to the salon and had them do some powder in my hair to get that toner out, but if you have an ash blonde or maybe silvery hair, that’s maybe on a darker side this stuff would probably work perfect for you. It just really wasn’t for me because I like my light blonde hair.
