SAKURA Gelly Roll Metallic Medium Point Pens, Pack of 10, Multi-Colour

I ordered these pens on January 1st, from BiC on Amazon,and the expected delivery was around 4th February, so imagine my surprise (as no tracking available) to see them delivered by Royal Mail, upon arrival from a bit of shopping that I did. That was on the morning of 22nd January so I'm actually impressed something this small (well packaged) could get here at all, considering it's coming from the USA and then travelling to Cumbria.Anyway, upon receiving this exciting package I tried all the pens out and they do work perfectly, something I expected but was still relieved about all the same. Something else I'm impressed with; ALL pens are full of ink. In the past I have ordered Gelly Rolls (singly) from another UK website. Not one of them was full of ink and I just thought that was a major flaw of the brand and didn't take it up with the company selling them. It seems to me that if you buy them in packs you are more likely to see more ink in each pen. Perhaps I've been lucky, who knows? But I shall buy them in packs from now on.Some people have mentioned the fact that there are two gold metallics in this pack. That is true. But, if you do some research you will find out that - in this range - there are no yellows anyway. Perhaps Gelly Roll think that a gold would be used a lot so they put two in, for crafting purposes and the like.I haven't used them in my adult colouring books as yet but I already have a red metallic in this range so I know that the rest will be as good, which is the reason for the order in the first place.If you are willing to wait a while to receive these pens, believe me - it's worth it, as they are difficult to get hold of in the UK. When I mentioned Sakura Gelly Roll Pens to an assistant in Ryman Stationers she said, "Who? Never heard of them!" which, kinda sums up what it's like shopping for decent pens on the High Street.

I purchased these Gelly Roll Metallic pens to use in my adult colouring book - Millie Marotta's Animal Kingdom which is a new hobby of mine. One of my friends lent me her pens prior to my purchase just to see how I got on with them and I have to say I was very pleased with the results. The colours are just beautiful and really do bring the pictures to life, plus enable you to enhance areas such a feathers extremely well (think of a wood pigeon with the green and pink metallic feathers around the neck when the sun shines on them). These are not like fineliner pens so for very precise detailed colouring in - I would not recommend them - but for larger areas and a very steady hand - they are good. You do need to be careful with the ink leaking through to the next page though and to avoid this - just make sure that you do not go over the same area twice with the pen. From a craft perspective - I have no doubt that these are just superb to use on coloured card. They are quite expensive, but I have been assured that they last quite a long time and due to the construction of the tips - they do not deteriorate - even if used by young children for their colouring books. So all in all - I am very pleased with my purchase and they certainly bring a new dimension to my colouring books.

these are very good pens . amazon are selling them at a good price to . the ink flows so smothly and dosent bleed though the pages of the adult colouring books i do . theres 10 colours which is a shame as more colours would be awsome . the metallic finish is realy good when the light catches the page you have coloured . just brillient pens and defently worth 5 stars . i love 'em

Excellent quality rollerball pen with a high quality metallic ink. The great thing is that the ink doesn't smear or bleed through most papers.The colours are subtle and they give a nice fine line. The ink quite dense and it does write well on both matt and gloss paper. A good buy well worth the money..

absolutely brilliant gel pens - love the subtle colours and of course being Sakura they work perfectly. Just love using them - my only 'grumble' is that they took an awfully long time to arrive - relative to Amazon's usual next day delivery that is - as they were coming from America! I will have to be ready to re-order well in advance of running out of them as wouldn't want to be without them!!

Best price i've seen for these. Took about 3 weeks to arrive but I think they had to come from the US as they're not easy to come by in the UK. These are very smooth to use and the colours are vibrant - much better than my other generic gel pens. I thought they would be more glittery than they are but I suppose I should have bought the glittery ones if I wanted glitter! I've still gave them 5 stars though as that was my expectation and no fault with the pens. They still have a sheen to them.

Oh wow how I enjoy using these Metalic Pens , the colours are really distinctive , they last a long time too , I'm an OAP love em , my grand aughts 8 she loves em , buy these with confidence , you'll be very happy with your perchase , my husband has Parkinson's and these pens encourage him to colour his Art Theraoy books . I wouldn't buy any other pens , The whole range of Sakura Pens are good value , well worth the price .
