I have a older version of this. On mine, under the red, it's hollow and always fills up with water in the wash. Is it still hollow under the red bit?

Yes it’s hollow! I didn’t see your comments before I bought mine otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it. It definitely fills up with water and you have to remember to leave it laying on its side after you’ve ‘dried’ it to left all the water drain out for about 15 mins otherwise you’ll get wet drawers in a manner of speaking.
