Amazon, you are being weird. I have no idea how I can rate this product on "thickness".I take this for sleep.This is a first generation antihistamine. Works far better in my personal experience (research says otherwise however) than second generation antihistamines. First generations have anticholinergic effects such as dry mouth, confusion etc.Possibly related to dementia, but I'm no doctor so Ill leave it to you to decide.Continuing with the I'm no doctor train of thought however, is to note that in higher doses this has SSRI like effects. I'd ask your real doctor if this is safe for you to take if you are on an SSRI, SNRI or MAOI.This one packs a wallop when it comes to allergies.Puts you down hard in terms of sleep.Short half-life keeps you from being groggy when you wake up.For the price it's better than many OTC "sleep aids" which generally are some form of antihistamine.
