Good value kit, for a Melitta bean to cup machine. Allows you to try all the items you may need. Although Melitta should include this with a new machine.

Purchased to clean my Melitta Solo Perfect Milk Coffee Machine. Kit contains:1 liquid descaler solution – A 250ml bottle provides 2 descaling cycles – required for cleaning cycle4 cleaning pads – 1 pad required each time to clean Cappuccinatore component -required for cleaning cycle1 filter cartridge – optional use and I’m not sure yet if this will extend the time required between descaling cyclesI microfibre cloth – not necessary, any soft cloth will do1 brush – useful to remove ground coffee that mysteriously ends up behind the brewing unit but you could use an old/unused make-up brushThe first thing I need to highlight is that there is absolutely no guidance either on the box or the individual packaging of each item. Thankfully the Melitta coffee machine manual is easy to follow plus there are some tutorials available on-line; otherwise I’d still have the descaling warning flashing on my machine. Now that I know what I am doing and what products I need to thoroughly clean my machine, I can be a little more selective choosing my items as there is no need for another full kit.

Great value for money! Does exactly what it is supposed to do. There is a small instruction booklet inside and 4 tablets. Each tablet is sealed individually in foil, so you can use the remaining tablets at a later date. 500ml of water and drop the tablet in until it has finished fizzing. Then the rest of the process will depend on your make and model of coffee machine. After that I flushed out twice by running 2 full tanks of water through.This was the cheapest way of decalcifying I could find. Very easy and simple to do. Didn't leave any odd after taste or smell.

Used this as I noticed a buildup of limescale on the heating element of our baby’s steriliser, lifted it off in no time with little effort 👌

Nearly £14 for a filter that lasts about two months - it’s expensive!
