I was extremely skeptical about this product, due to the negative results... so here is my honest review.It did take a little longer to get here than expected (only delayed by 2 days).It was all in one big box, which was a bit difficult to open without a box cutter. If you use a sharp object to open, please be extremely careful as all 3 sections are very compressed inside and it would be so easy to cut into the mattress.Once I opened the box all three sections were wrapped in vacuum sealed plastic which was easy to open. The only smell I can say I noticed is from the plastic it was wrapped in. After allowing it to sit and expand, there is no plastic smell. Definitely make sure that you have some storage space to lay the mattress out and allow it to completely expand! The instructions say to allow 48 hours for expansion, so that is what I did. (After 24 hours I wanted to bring it in and set it up because it appeared to be fully expanded, however after waiting 48 hours I realized that it still had a bit of fluffing up left to do so I'm glad I waited the full 48 hours.) The thickness described is very accurate, as are the measurements, so it fit on my queen size platform perfectly. It was very easy to zip together, and I am able to store it in my fold up bed dresser thing. I believe it's called a Murphy's bed chest? I have the queen size 6 in, so when folded it is able to fit in a space that is 18 inches deep. I will also note that I am around 250 lb, as is my partner, and we are both able to lay on this mattress without feeling the platform underneath. The memory foam is slightly firm, but it does have some give and when I lay on it I can feel where it is adjusting to my body. I think that's the best way to describe that.. I have had this bed for about a month, so I don't have a good review for a long-term use as of yet. This is our mattress for the bed we sleep on every night, and I can say that so far I do not notice any dips in where we have been sleeping every night. It always expands back to normal thickness. I can also say that we do not feel any dips in where the mattress Zips together where I have felt the separation in other brands. We use a regular queen size sheet on it to keep it clean, but I'm sure a mattress protector would fit just fine for those that need a little extra. The mattress itself without a sheet or anything is pretty soft though, so if you're not one to like sheets on the bed I'm sure you'd have no problems getting comfortable however, because of the fabric used, I wonder how easy it would be to clean with no protective cover at all.All in all I have to say that I was very very pleasantly surprised with how this mattress has turned out for us.-Update-It is still our daily... nightly...? Whichever, whatever... it still sleeps the same as when I first got it. Still no dips where we lay, and it still always returns to shape when we get out of bed. I'm actually about to order the twin size for my daughters room as soon as the remodel is finished! I still highly recommend. :)

We use this to do "sleepovers" in the living room, or to sleep in front of the fire place. My 5 and 8 yr old love to play on it. Set up was easy, it expanded the appropriate amount and is very comfortable. Not too soft but not hard, juuuuust right!

More comfy than our king memory foam mattress. Love that it’s modular with each piece being able to zipper or un-zipper from each other, as well as fold up for easy storage. Design works for F150 short truck bed mattress and 100 times more comfortable than an air mattress. Pairs great with the camper shell tent system that only takes 5 mins to put up and take down.

This is nicer than expected. No outgrowing noticed.I was worried about discomfort where the cushions connected but I don't feel them at all. Conveniently folds away. It is firmer than expected. If you don't like firm mattresses, this is not for you. I'm hoping it softens up a bit.

Perfect addition to my Bronco Sport camper conversion! This mattress divides into 3 equal parts. I have a complete and comfortable car bed! This blows other inflatable mattresses out of the water! I can stack them up while I’m on the road and lay them out when I’m sleeping! Game changer for my camping adventures!

Great mattress. Although I ordered a twin, it seems wider than average and is longer so it's great if you like more space. Since it's thicker, it feels like you're sleeping on a real bed. It also has memory foam on top so it's really comfortable, not too soft or too stiff. It was definitely worth it!

Absolutely Love it!!!.... Getting the spare room ready for family, I purchased a queen Murphy bed and got this mattress for it and it fits perfect and feels comfortable.... Can't wait for the grandkids!!!

It folds nicely, makes it easy to store. Note that while you can remove the foam for each element separately, you can't separate the three pieces from each other, as the cover is sewn together. Tricky to return, but I reached out to Amazon and the seller (search the web, the contact option is hard to find on the website) and the issue was resolved to my full satisfaction. Great service!
