Dr Mercola Fermented Chlorella | 450 Tablets

Wonderful for vegetarians as they seem to give me an energy boost and can remove toxins from the body. Sometimes I’ve had headaches and these seem to eradicate the headaches as they mop up the toxins and cleanse my body. Oddly enough, I love the taste - sort of marine-like and pure. I feel good when I take these regularly. This brand is not the cheapest but I think it’s excellent and highly reputable. I’m never going to be without these tablets.

Have been taking chlorella in various tablet form (organic, crack cell wall etc), and this is one of the best! A quality product in which the difference can be felt within a short period of time.Class product!

Good product

When I started taking this I really was not feeling great. I had little energy and just felt under the weather. After a couple of weeks I felt dramatically better, even feeling a big improvement after only a couple of days.The big thing that sticks in my mind though is the improvement in sleep. I believe this is because of the dramatic increase in good gut bacteria that Chlorella brings about and, like the improvement in how I feel, the improvement in sleep happened quickly. I also feel more focused and awake (with my day job benefitting) and my mood is better. I find that I am more relaxed in my evenings now too. The improvements keep coming as time goes on - I have been taking five tablets a day for nearly two months now. I get these improvements with other brands too, but Dr Mercola is the only one I have found that has all the benefits while being free of impurities. I tended to stop taking other brands after a while because I was nervous about contamination with pollutants, due to where the Chlorella is grown.

Just started on these, can't say anything about benefits yet but they're easy on my stomach. It does tastes quite a lot but nothing disgusting

Quite simply the highest grade chlorella you can buy. Read any of Dr Mercola's articles (which he backs up with published research papers) and you know that any of his products are the real deal.The tablets are much smaller than other brands I have tried so easy to swallow. I take 5 a day in the morning with my probiotics.I'm not going to say that taking this product has changed my life because but that's not it's intention. But I can rest easy knowing I am putting some high quality chlorella into my body, and my body probably thanks me!The only thing that stops me buying Mercola's products are the high price, which isn't a surprise due to them being imported from the USA. But I felt that these were decent value since I will get about 3 months worth (taking 5 a day).

OK so having been involved in trials using premium chlorella this is the first time that I have heard of fermented chlorella, so that's a new one on me. Being inquisitive purchased one bottle and not impressed. The fermented name is, in my view, a gimmick. The cell wall is generally cracked by either centrifugal or spray methods and a simple test to gauge the quality of chlorella is the colour of the tablet or powder. A good quality grade of chlorella will have a rich emerald green colour while a lower grade in quality is a dull green. These tablets were a dull green reflecting on the quality of the chlorophyll, mineral, vitamin and amino acid content.Another pointer is that after taking 12 tablets per day for several days, I suffered from intense stomach cramps and the resulting dash to the toilet. I immediately stopped taking them and gained relief within 24 hours.There are other brands available on Amazon, one of which I currently take between 14 to 20 x 500mg tablets per day without any side effects but great benefits. The pack size is also larger at 1kg costing only about £10 more than this brand.My conclusion is that these are grossly overpriced. The quality is not good, and I do not know what the fermented part means in the description.
