Triggersafe has you covered.
Here is my review of the Triggersafe trigger guard. I rate it 5 stars. This is the product description as it states:“Triggersafe Handgun Trigger Staging Holster Safety Cover Guard - Designed to Avoid Accidental & Negligent Discharges - Compatible with Glock Handguns (Yellow)”If you look at the picture and read the description that tells you all you need to know. The real question is: Why do I need this thing? That is an easy answer and it boils down to Glock pistols do not have an external safety. If something pulls the trigger and the pistol is loaded, then it goes BANG! It is as simple as that. Can you say, “Glock Limp”?What this device does is it keeps things from going into the trigger area and thus preventing a bad day or bad night. If you keep a Glock pistol by your bed at night for “Just in case” this may keep you from putting your finger on the trigger while you are half asleep.FYI, There are no kids in my house. If you have kids, keep your guns in a gun safe. (For discipline no longer has merit). Nowadays, it keeps your guns locked up in a safe and keep your kids locked up in the house! When I was growing up neither the guns nor kids were locked up and we all made it just fine. As to the “Kids” well, they all have silver hair now.So, now that we have the why and what covered let's talk about the device. The trigger cover is yellow and easy to see. It comes with a two-foot small cord for a lanyard. The front of the device hangs below the trigger guard and is made to engage with your finger just like pulling a trigger. You can pull the cord down or pull back on the front of the device and it just pops off, clearing the pistol for the ready. I should add that the device is well made and the fit is great. This device does not take the place of a good fitting holster. However, if you have accessories on your pistol that makes finding a compatible holster impossible. Then the Triggersafe trigger guard may be worth consideration. The bottom line is, I like it. Of course, you can look at it this way, It’s sort of like wearing a mask to stop a virus. It may not be worth a darn but it makes you think about being safe.I hope this review was helpful. It’s just my opinion after all. Your mileage may be different.- Your Ol’ Uncle SawberryP.S. I must say that my Triggersafe trigger guard did seem to take a little longer to receive than normal for first-class mail. Of course, this is to be expected, what with the Kung-Flu going around, people living at the post office, dead people’s mail, and mail being delivered to dumps and ditches. Yep, It's government efficiency at its finest. Can you say, ”Affidavit”?Update 1/4/2021I must say I am so pleased with the Triggersafe trigger guard that I have now purchased another one. I am considering purchasing a few for some of my rifles. If I do I will write a review on them too. You can go to the Triggersafe website to see their other products. One more thing, I am not connected in any way to Triggersafe. I just think they make a good product. I am just passing along this information in case you may be in the market for a trigger guard for additional safety from accidental discharge. The old saying of it's better to be safe than sorry still holds true today!God Bless You and yours, Your Ol'Uncle Sawberry

Perfect on G34/17 with Streamlight TLR-1s
This Triggersafe is perfect on my G34 and G17 with aTLR1. With or without a lanyard attached the textured lower front area allows easy removal with a quick downward flick of my support hand index finger with little effect on my grip.It does not activate my light when doing this.I have three other kydex style trigger guards for the G34/17/43 from other companies and I don’t find the plastic in this to be any softer, in fact this one fits much more precisely than any of the others. This triggersafe does have more flex, and comes off easier than the others but that is because with the light it cannot grip the front of the trigger guard, but that is unavoidable. That said, I feel this holds on very tightly and more than enough to be safe.Because of the light triggersafe must be disengaged downward and not forward but that feels perfectly natural and easy to me.Great product!

Room for improvement
I had read in a couple of reviews that the trigger cover would not work with a weapon mounted light. I had thought that maybe there'd be a way around this problem but nope!!! I like the product and it does what it promised. I am sure there is a way that the designer can come up with a solution. I am quite happy with the trigger cover. It is easy to mount and a breeze to remove. I bought it to conceal carry in a fanny pack. I tied the included lanyard to the inside of the pocket where the 🔫 goes. All I have to do is pull the 🔫 out and the cover comes off. It is well enough designed that it will stay on the 🔫 itself but comes off as you pull it out with minimal effort. Very happy but I wish I could use a weapon mounted light.

Fantastic fit and great quality
I must admit, I was much more impressed with this product than I thought I’d be. It has a good solid “click” when put on the trigger and yet can be removed easily from the front (especially using the supplied paracord). It does NOT fall off and it completely covers the trigger of my Glock 20. The manufacturer is a small business and he replies immediately to emails with questions (I had asked him if he planned to produce a version for the G48 since I was so pleased with this one). It is not a lock. For me it has a purpose when I can’t use a holster, which is preferred but not always possible. Got the yellow one. That way there’s no mistaken it’s on there, even in the dark.

Does not work with the TLR 7
Reviews that I read stated that it would work well with a TLR 7 and this is completely false. You have to really jam it on for it to come close to fitting properly and when you do that it constantly presses on the flashlight switches. Also Did not work with my TLR 6. Now I have bought myself a chore having to try and find a return store somewhere to take back this overpriced little piece of plastic. Not happy.
