Simple Concept. Sturdy Construction. Magnificent Blessing.
I can’t believe how much time I’ve wasted wrestling with microphones, shock mounts, mic clips, and other accessories — never getting them in the right position — when I could have bought this simple, sturdy, magnificent device. I use a Sennheiser MKH-416 overhead, on a basic stand with boom arm. Setup is so much quicker now, and I can actually get the tip of the mic exactly where I want it. BTW, YouTuber Tom Buck recommended this.

Worth every penny. Even though that’s a boatload of pennies.
I won’t be putting these on all of my mic stands (until I win the lottery) but it’s awesome on my main one.Super tough, easy to crank down, and supports the heaviest microphones like a champ. Also saved me some money by not having to upgrade my shock mount: the shock mount’s angle adjustment isn’t strong enough for my heavy mics and keeps slipping, but with this swivel mount, I can basically ‘bottom out’ my shock mount’s travel and use this swivel mount to hold everything where I want it. Bonus!

Great swivel
It’s great! Handles my sm7b without issue.

five stars easily
This device should be a requirement for all to have for video and online conferencing. It is so solid, metal, and a confidence builder. I put all sorts of mics with extensions on it and never moved. Try that with another "metal" mic holder and you will see. I will buy more in the future. Well worth the money!

This heavy duty adapter is very easy to use
This adapter makes adjusting the position of a microphone at the end of a boom very simple. Making ongoing adjustments of 5/8" threaded attachments on one axis at a time is a real pain when you need to both adjust the angle and swivel the mike - now I can just loosen one knob and change both the angle and the swivel and tighten it back down in one step. It's sturdy and solid, but It does weigh a bit more than I expected - so if you are using a boom and it is already at its limit holding up a heavy microphone (e.g. an SM7B), then this might just put you over the edge.
