Q: Are they taller than dealer boots... Are they waterproof?

Probably slightly taller..bought mine in December and they're breaking in nicely now..haven't tested waterproofness really but I doubt it..very comfortable, recommend them highly.

Q: Are they wide fitting?

Hi Lee, its difficult for me to say really, but I am 6ft 4in and size 13 feet and the boots when I am wearing them do not feel tight in any way, I do not have a narrow foot, they are the best safety boots I have ever had, very comfortable, easy to slip on (no laces) and break in very quickly, hope this is helpful in some way, Mark.

Q: Are these any good for wide feet? a dress chelsea boot is just too tight across the top of my feet so are these any wider?

Yes in my case.i have a very high instep and my feet are very wide.i brought one size larger but irony think you really need to .l put some gel sole in still a bit sloppy .I am 11/12 purchased a 13 wished I had not recommend the boot.
