It took far too long to adhere.
It took over 45 minutes to gain adhesion, on new carpet. Then another 35 min to achieve sufficient hold.

This is professional tape, it joins the tape permanently. Just make sure you dont put the iron on the carpet.

It did the trick..
I had a few scraps of carpet that I wanted to piece together in my garage. I have used this tape before,.. it's what the pros use. I don't have the iron that they use, but I heated it with a heat gun until the glue was melted, and it did the trick! Very satisfied.
