I purchased this for when my arthritis flared up in the winter but didn’t expect to fall and need it sooner. It works well. I was surprised that it fit my body I’m a size 18 w and my hips are a bit wide. Thank goodness it fit!

Great fit with wraparound straps, three solid levels of heat, very effective and comfortable. Excellent value.

Fits well (I'm fat) and heats way hotter than expected on the medium setting. I'm a bit concerned that it gets too hot and the controls get hot to the touch. I'm not sure I would consider this to be safe for anyone immobile or incapable of managing it themselves due to mobility or mental capacity. Definitely don't leave such a person unattended.

Works great as a normal heating pad, but even though I ordered the XL one, it doesn't fit my sister. She's 5'3 and less than 170 so it's not like she's a large person, certainly not the size of an average man, and it doesn't even fit her. Even on me, who it does fit, it isn't the easiest to use when it's strapped in because you have to stand and when your sciatica is flaring up sometimes that's just not an option.

i have sciatica and this has been a lifesaver!! i re-aggravated it recently to the point where i had to go to the hospital because of how much pain i was in, and heating pads were the only thing helping, but constantly having to fix a regular heating pad around your leg is quite annoying. this wrapped design is game changing! i even sleep with it on thanks to the 2 hour shutoff, i don't have to worry about getting burned. a lot of heating pads don't provide enough heat, but this one does. i keep it on the lowest when i'm going to sleep, but usually i have it on medium. my one issue is that if you are plus size, the L/XL may not be big enough. i'm generally a size 16 for tops and bottoms, and the strap barely fits around my hips.

This heating pad works really well. The velcro straps are sturdy and long enough to secure the pad in place. I use it all over my lower back and hips. It was better than I expected.

hard to put on if you're going to be an any position other than standing like the picture shows. The large round element is in a ridiculous place, so it jabs you in the back (while this makes you temporarily forget about the hip pain, not exactly the preferred method of pain relief). More importantly, after a year of very light use, there is now a burning smell, so concerns about a fire have made me put it away. Amazon won't return after this long and hard to contact company. Won't buy from them again.
