Nice! Better than the replaceable versions.
These are pretty nifty. I started with the plastic ones with the replacement sponge ends. Those aren't great.THESE are easy to use. And smoother. The black end is more of a burnisher. Blends somewhat, but burnishes what you've already blended or already laid down. The white side is rougher. It will blend. But don't press too hard because it is rougher and can tear your paper. It's made for light pressure use.Use the white end first, then the black. You can clean the ends as well. Clean the black end with a damp cloth, the white end you can scrub a bit harder or use an eraser on.You don't absolutely need these, but they do give you another way to add personality to your art.

These Are Epic! Can’t Live Without Them!
I have been skilled coloring for the past four years, and I have no idea why I haven’t run across these tools before now! They will definitely take your coloring to new heights! I have been just using blending pencils up until now. The functionality of these tools are priceless!

Good tools, with a caveat.
I really like these. The black tips are a trippy sponge, and soft enough to use on your face. The white tips are stiff, like a regular artist's stump. Altogether they seem sturdy and useful for any kind of charcoal, pastel or pencil work. My only complaint is that one of the smaller brushes has its white tip deeply encased in the metal ferrule and I can't get it out. I've tried everything short of damaging or destroying it, but it won't come out. I've subtracted a star for that reason, being as it's a quality control issue and not something that happened during shipping - that tip is really wedged down deep, not like it was bumped down by a hard knock, and it's only just the one tip, not all of them. Otherwise seems like a very nice set of blending tools, affordably priced. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

More options
Although I give it five stars, I wish there was like more options maybe a medium range or a very delicate delicate range right now it’s like a thumb and a pinky. There’s nothing in the middle, but their wonderful sides with the black side is very soft and squishy the white side is extremely stiff so you get a good blending option. I would definitely label each one for specific use if you’re gonna use it for charcoal use it for charcoal if you’re gonna use it for graphite, use it for graphite. I even have one for soft pastels.

Performance, mid
Products came fast and looked to be sturdy enough but have always used the rolled paper and comparatively it doesn't seem to do the same amount of Shifting of graphite

Great Blending Smudgers!
These little sponge blenders are the absolute best for smudging or blending graphite. They especially work great for dog fur. Also for laying out a scene like trees, clouds, etc. before starting your watercolor. I bought the first set with 2 sponge pens & I ordered this larger set to share with my daughter. You can blend animal fur so much more realistic with these. The felt tip also works well.

They work great for chalk pastel painting!
I'm not positive what these were intended for, but I found that they were great for blending my chalk pastels. The variety of sizes is wonderful and the value for money is even better! They seem to be made of quality materials and I believe they will last me quite some time. I'm quite enjoying learning to paint as it were with chalk pastels and these have been huge for me. They work great for what I need them for.

Didn’t look new
These arrived in a box and it was taped shut. The shaders were dusty with a white fine looking dust there was a hair wrapped around the tip of the shader.Honestly I don’t think I even want them anymore. These are supposed to be new. 2 stars for it being all in the box. -3 stars for it giving me many reasons to suspect they were used. I just feel grossed out really.I don’t know if I want to return or replace them. I feel weary of trusting it.
